Secrets of the Incredible Benefits of Massage Therapy

Massage: Get in touch with its many benefits

Originally Published: January 12th, 2021 Massage can be a powerful tool to help you take charge of your health and well-being. See if it’s right for you. By Mayo Clinic Staff

Massage used to be available only through luxury spas and upscale health clubs. Today, massage therapy is offered in businesses, clinics, hospitals, and even airports. If you’ve never tried massage, learn about its possible health benefits and what to expect during a massage therapy session.

What is massage?

Massage is a general term for pressing, rubbing, and manipulating your skin, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Massage may range from light stroking to deep pressure. There are many different types of massage, including these common types:

  • Swedish massage. This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration, and tapping. It helps you feel relaxed and energized.
  • Deep massage. This massage technique uses slower, more forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s commonly used to help with muscle damage from injuries.
  • Sports massage. This is similar to Swedish massage, but it’s geared toward people involved in sports activities to help prevent or treat injuries.
  • Trigger point massage. This massage focuses on areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse.

Benefits of massage

Massage is generally considered part of integrative medicine. It’s increasingly being offered along with standard treatment for a wide range of medical conditions and situations.

Massage benefits can include:

  • Reducing stress and increasing relaxation
  • Reducing pain and muscle soreness and tension
  • Improving circulation, energy, and alertness
  • Lowering heart rate and blood pressure
  • Improving immune function

While more research is needed to confirm the benefits of massage, some studies have found massage may also be helpful for:

  • Anxiety
  • Digestive disorders
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Headaches
  • Insomnia related to stress
  • Low back pain
  • Myofascial pain syndrome
  • Nerve pain
  • Soft tissue strains or injuries
  • Sports injuries
  • Temporomandibular joint pain
  • Upper back and neck pain

Beyond the benefits for specific conditions or diseases, some people enjoy massage because it often produces feelings of caring, comfort, and connection.

Despite its benefits, massage isn’t meant as a replacement for regular medical care. Let your doctor know you’re trying massage and be sure to follow any standard treatment plans you have.

Risks of massage

Most people can benefit from massage. However, massage may not be appropriate if you have:

  • Bleeding disorders or take blood-thinning medication
  • Burns or healing wounds
  • Deep vein thrombosis
  • Infections
  • Broken bones (fractures)
  • Severe osteoporosis
  • A very low platelet count (severe thrombocytopenia)

Discuss the pros and cons of massage with your doctor, especially if you are pregnant or if you have cancer or unexplained pain.

Some forms of massage can leave you feeling a bit sore the next day. But massage shouldn’t ordinarily be painful or uncomfortable. If any part of your massage doesn’t feel right or is painful, speak up right away. Most serious problems come from too much pressure during massage.

What you can expect during a massage

You don’t need any special preparation for massage. Before a massage therapy session starts, your massage therapist should ask you about any symptoms, your medical history, and what you’re hoping to get out of the massage. Your massage therapist should explain the kind of massage and techniques he or she will use.

In a typical massage therapy session, you undress or wear loose-fitting clothing. Undress only to the point that you’re comfortable. You generally lie on a table and cover yourself with a sheet. Your massage therapist will leave the room when you undress before the massage and when you dress after it. You can also have a massage while sitting in a chair, fully clothed. Your massage therapist should perform an evaluation through touch to locate painful or tense areas and to determine how much pressure to apply.

Depending on preference, your massage therapist may use oil or lotion to reduce friction on your skin. Tell your massage therapist if you might be allergic to any ingredients.

A massage session may last from 10 to 90 minutes, depending on the type of massage and how much time you have. No matter what kind of massage you choose, you should feel calm and relaxed during and after your massage. Breathe normally throughout your massage.

Your massage therapist may play music during your massage or talk to you, but you can tell him or her if you prefer quiet.

If a massage therapist is pushing too hard, ask for lighter pressure. Occasionally you may have a sensitive spot in a muscle that feels like a knot. It’s likely to be uncomfortable while your massage therapist works it out. But if it becomes painful, speak up.

Finding a massage therapist

Ask your doctor or someone else you trust for a recommendation. Most states regulate massage therapists through licensing, registration, or certification requirements.

Don’t be afraid to ask a potential massage therapist such questions as:

  • Are you licensed, certified, or registered?
  • What are your training and experience?
  • How many massage therapy sessions do you think I’ll need?
  • What’s the cost, and is it covered by health insurance?

The take-home message about massage

Brush aside any thoughts that massage is only a feel-good way to indulge or pamper yourself. On the contrary, massage can be a powerful tool to help you take charge of your health and well-being, whether you have a specific health condition or are just looking for another stress reliever. You can even learn how to do self-massage or how to engage in massage with a partner at home.

Urgent! How Will A Digital Currency Destroy Freedom?

Americans Must Reject Any Digital Currency Coming From The Central Bank

Dateline: Creve Coeur, MO. USA./Saturday, June 5th, 2021/ Written by: Jeffrey L. Klump

They are doing it to us, again.

Does anyone see it?

Look carefully.

I warned people about Donald Trump in 2015 when I posted on social media and wrote that he was the ultimate trojan horse. Trump was the false flag attack on America.

Trump supporters believe even to this day that he was the real deal. He wasn’t.

Trump is a grifter. His kids are grifters, and his grandkids will be grifters.

Trump was playing his role as an actor to divide America.

Trump’s spending was higher in 4 years than what war criminal George W. Bush spent in 8 years.

Some Trump supporters claim it was because of Covid. Complete nonsense.

Trump was in office for 4 years before Covid ever hit the headlines.

Trump was taking us to the same destination that Joe Biden is taking us, except by a different route.

Both Trump & Biden have increased federal spending in a massive way because they are intentionally destroying the U.S. dollar in its current form.

Dr. Michael Burry, from the “Big Short” fame, warned us in February on Twitter before he was forced to remove his tweet about hyperinflation at our doorstep.

Michael Burry didn’t realize or understand that the massive increase in federal spending while the private central bank, The Federal Reserve, continues to print up ‘new dollars” to flood the system, is all part of the plan to destroy the U.S. dollar in its current form and move us to a new digital currency, issued by them.

This is why you are seeing attacks on cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. The dollar price has fallen quite a bit since its high earlier this year. Bitcoin(#BTC) price may go even lower in dollar terms.

Much of this has to do with the Federal Reserve’s comments about Bitcoin and other cryptos including comments about how the I.R.S. is looking into people not paying taxes who own and exchange cryptos for dollars.

The Federal Reserve will have No Competition for a digital currency.

This will make a lot more sense to you if you understand that the I.R.S. is the collection agency for the Federal Reserve bank.

If you owe taxes to the I.R.S., your check is deposited into one of 12 central banks around the country.

Once your check is deposited, the Federal Reserve takes its “skim”(think Mafia skim from Las Vegas casinos) off of the top, and whatever is leftover goes to the U.S. Treasury.

The Federal Reserve is not part of the United States government.

The Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel whose shareholders include the Bank of England, Goldman Sachs, and J.P. Morgan. These shareholders are just the few that we know about.

There is a very real reason the Federal Reserve does not want to have an audit.

They know an audit would be an end of the central bank.

Stay with me here. Back to what I said at the beginning of this article regarding “they are doing it to us again”.

They are grifting us again.

We can describe them as “The Powers That Be” but in reality, they are the global cult that David Icke frequently mentions. At the top of this global cult are satanic International Zionists & Freemasonry.

These two groups are at the top of the pyramid power of Evil in the world.

In February 2020, I warned people that Covid 19 was a bioweapon made in a laboratory.

It was real, and it was a threat to some people in the world, primarily those who are deficient in vitamin D, which means it was a targeted virus-like I said back then.

Many decided to listen to pseudo-scientists like Antony Fauci and serial killer Bill Gates, who isn’t a scientist and is nothing more than a college dropout.

The grift in 2020 was the Corona Cold scam. That was “the hook”.

Remember the axiom by 30-year conspiracy researcher David Icke, Problem-Reaction-Solution.

Don’t ever forget this.

They, the Global Cult, create the problem. In this case, they created a biological weapon, originally made in the USA, and that is why Trump was lying about this from the beginning, and then offshored the work to a P4 lab in Wuhan, China.

The CCP(Chinese Communist Party) has the germ intentionally released.

The people react. Many are freaked out! Ready to surrender all of their Constitutional rights if need be, in exchange for the illusion of safety and protection.

Now, the Global Cult, whose middlemen are Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates, come up with the solution.

The solution being the experimental drugs that everyone keeps referring to as “vaccines”.

I warned everyone more than 6 months ago that there are no vaccines for bioweapons like Covid 19 and there are no vaccines for a corona cold virus, like Covid 19.

Thousands of people have already died from these experimental drugs and that is why I was banned from Facebook.

I was posting on a business page about the dangers of these drugs.

The Corona Cold scam is now falling apart as we are witnessing middle man Anthony Fauci being thrown under the bus with email gate.

Watch Tucker Carlson hammer the fraud Fauci: “That Was A Lie”: Tucker Carlson Levels Fauci After FOIA Emails Connect The Dots | ZeroHedge

They will play out this grift even though you are hearing less and less about the “vaccine” program because most Americans who haven’t taken the jab are suspicious, and have decided to say no.

What is the latest grift from the Global Cult? Take a look at the title of this article.

For more than a year we have been hearing about a digital currency the Federal Reserve is looking into.

Come on now. The Fed already has its “Digital Dollar” it created and is ready to roll it out.

This is the reason you are seeing money given to just about everyone from the government.

Once again, Problem-Reaction-Solution.

They, your elected politicians, and unelected private central bankers are flooding money everywhere in order to destroy the dollar.

The people react. They are upset and feeling the effects of massive inflation followed by hyperinflation.

The American people are desperate.

But wait, here comes the solution.

The Federal Reserve issues its own cryptocurrency known as the Digital Dollar.

The Fed won’t tell the desperate Americans that they will lose all of their freedom with this new electronic currency, which will allow the Fed to look into your bank account, and see what transactions you make and for what.

No, you are being grifted right now into total enslavement.

The middle class will be utterly decimated and destroyed with severe inflation including $5 dollars a gallon gasoline, or more.

Here is financial expert George Gammon to explain how this will work. Take a listen:

What is the hook in this grift? Remember, the Global Cult must scare you into giving up all of your Freedoms and Liberties as they did with Covid.

The hook is the staged alien disclosure/invasion that will be unveiled by the Pentagram, better known as the Pentagon.

You are hearing about UFOs everywhere especially on mainstream media when in the past, most mainstream outlets have refused to cover it.

Why is this coming out now? Remember, timing is everything.

The Global Cult not only needs people to be afraid, and fear is a control mechanism, but they also need people to be distracted as to what the real grift is, and that is a new digital currency for all of us.

The central bankers of the world including the Federal Reserve are the middle managers for the Global Cult.

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered… I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies… The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.” Thomas Jefferson

The plan is to take America and the whole world down the same road as China.

China already has its digital Yuan operational and in use.

The digital currency is downloaded onto a smartphone.

You are hearing more and more chatter on business networks like CNBC about a new Digital currency from the Fed.

Take a look => The Fed this summer to move toward developing a digital currency (cnbc.com)

Eventually, the currency will be a microchip planted into one of these “vaccines”.

That is still a few years away, but if they get their way with this new Digital Dollar or Fedcoin, there will be no stopping them.

Any new digital currency coming from the Central Bank must be rejected by all Americans.

They are doing it to us, again.

Does anyone see it?

Look carefully.

Find Out How To Never Give Up

Feeling Like Giving Up? Read This Before You Do

Avatar

Originally Published on May 22, 2021By Christopher Fern

What do anger, shame, remorse, guilt, frustration, overwhelm, indecisiveness, scarcity, and fear all have in common? When an emotional response occurs, the amygdala – the part of the brain most often referred to as “snake brain” takes hold, causing you to “process” the emotions. What’s actually happening then is that we’re living a memory from the past in the now – a form of time travel: the mind knows no different.

It’s up to you how you want to leave it though. The way you feel is determined by how you linked those two things. The way you feel when you’re triggered again is about how you link them now. When you’re inspired, it’s the same except you’re applying excitement or fear to the life you could have, not the life you do.

Step 1 – Realize You’re Drunk and You Don’t Even Know It

In a recent study conducted by Harvard Scientists, “Bandwidth Tax” was discovered, and fundamentally means you’re walking around drunk. It also happens way sooner than you think.

“[The] effects [of the two groups’ questions] correspond to between 13 and 14 IQ points. A gain of that many points can lift you from the category of “average” to “superior” intelligence. Or, if you move in the other direction, losing 13 points can take you from “average” to a category labeled “borderline-deficient.” In our studies, the same person has fewer IQ points when he or she is preoccupied with scarcity than when not. This cognitive penalty is the key to our story.”

And when this happens, it’s a perpetual cycle. This is the origin of stress, burnout, or overwhelm lives here, and is perpetuated by it.

Step 2 – Notice Repetitive Decisions

In order to reduce bandwidth tax, you must reduce the number of things you’re paying attention to and the frequency at which you’re paying attention to them. To do so requires identifying repetitive patterns and minimizing them.

When I was a boy, my mother calculated her budget the same way every month – she pulled out her pen and paper, started with her fixed income, subtracted expenses, and hoped for the best. Same numbers, same math, different expectations. And to top it off, we always ran out of money!

I couldn’t help but wonder, why was she acting as if anything else mattered other than what was left after bills? Her income didn’t change. The expenses didn’t change. But she kept running the same numbers, arriving at the same conclusion of having a certain amount left over, and doing it every month.

Don’t be like my late mother. Be on time. Take a look in these areas for repeating decisions:

  • Is there a consistent outcome – like cash flow with my mother? Focus on the abbreviated form you can trust.
  • Do you find that you spend impulsively under certain conditions? You can predict the conditions and the impulse.
  • Are you using lists? Despite popular opinion, lists create bandwidth tax. Best to find a way to minimize what you see at once.
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” – Thomas Edison

Step 3 – Create a Metric

You need a metric to measure your effectiveness. Metrics give you measurable and attainable ways to recognize improvements.

Some examples are:

  • In the case of my dearly departed mother:  “cash leftover” or “time it takes to budget” could be the result of the consolidation we just discussed.
  • With Bandwidth Tax the metric is IQ.
  • Time is always a good metric because it’s the only thing we’re limited by. It can also apply to almost anything that causes inconvenience.

This metric should be how you measure all decisions of the same type. It’s the thing that tells you if you’re essentially 4 beers in, just 1, or none at all. It’s something that should be countable but has to apply to your situation. This will create meaning in your productivity.

Step 4 – Batch Process

Now that we have metrics for all of these things that cause Bandwidth Tax, we can go even further. How can we begin to manage all of the metrics? Simple – batch processing.

I remember in high school I saw a teacher grading papers, and he was grading all of them at once – literally.  “By grading all of the questions 1 first, then all of the question 2’, it’s much faster because my mind doesn’t have to keep ‘question switching’“ he said when I asked why. This stuck with me, and it began my deep dive into this phenomenon.

Also known as Chunking, batch processing allows us to focus on doing things of a similar type over time to reduce bandwidth tax. It’s very similar to keeping that paper to budget, then using it for another family member. The goal with Chunking is to make it seem to your mind like all of the tasks you’re doing are so similar they might as well be the same, thereby reducing Bandwidth Tax. This is like focus, but further.

Step 5 – Ritual

But we can go, even so, one step further. And this is the step that will solidify the claim that we can trust our decisions in any state. This is the principle of Habitualization, or simple – Ritual.

This step involves making a groove in your mind so clearly – a groove that represents the stepwise, never-changing, very simple WAY of doing a thing that depends heavily on all that we’ve talked about.  A ritual, or habit, tells the mind that it can, fundamentally, consider something so trustworthy it can be ignored. This is the opposite of bandwidth tax.

With any of the things we’ve worked on in this article, ask yourself how you might be able to “program” them into you. If there are changes to consider, can you consider them all at once?

Those programs are going to be the new subconscious, controlling the amygdala, and to do all 5 of these steps will make the thing that once made you act as if you were drunk seem like you’re simply taking a sip of wonderful spring water. RELATED TOPICS:BANDWIDTH TAXCLARITYCLEAR MINDFEELINGSGIVING UPINTERNAL PROGRAMSMINDSETTHOUGHTSUP NEXTThe Secret to Your Weekly SuccessDON’T MISSBurnout Is Real. The “Big Short” Michael Burry’s Post Was Taken Down

The Twitter Post by Famous Investor Dr. Michael J. Burry Regarding Hyperinflation of the U.S. Dollar was Completely Deleted From the Internet. Why?

Dateline: Creve Coeur, MO. USA/ April 25th, 2021/ By: Jeffrey L. Klump

The 2015 movie “The Big Short” gave everyone a look into the massive fraud that takes place on Wall Street and the Banking System of the United States.

The movie won several awards and the character played by Christian Bale was none other than famed investor Dr. Michael J. Burry.

Michael Burry saw what few people were willing to see in 2005, and that was the entire housing/real estate market was built upon fraud. Namely, fraudulent mortgages that were packaged into subprime loans.

This writer called the real estate crash in 2003 and warned his small group of friends. Many of them laughed saying that real estate never goes down.

I wasn’t a smart guy like Michael Burry and never thought that I could profit from it.

I did take precautions and loaded up on physical gold and silver, however.

On February 20th, 2021, Michael Burry posted on his Twitter account about the possibility of hyperinflation of the U.S. dollar.

Burry went on to say that the trillions and trillions of debt-based dollars that were being printed up would cause a period of inflation followed by hyperinflation.

He was forced to take his blog post down by Twitter.

The post was completed scrubbed from the internet including the article about the post from the hugely popular financial blog, Zerohedge.

Neither the Feds through the SEC(Securities & Exchange Commission) or Twitter were interested in Michael Burry until he made that post on Twitter and that post went viral.

Everyone was talking about it.

Here is a snippet of Michael Burry’s post from February 2021:

The US government is inviting inflation with its MMT-tinged policies. Brisk Debt/GDP, M2 increases while retail sales, PMI stage V recovery. Trillions more stimulus & re-opening to boost demand as employee and supply chain costs skyrocket. #ParadigmShift

The US government is inviting inflation with its MMT-tinged policies. Brisk Debt/GDP, M2 increases while retail sales, PMI stage V recovery. Let’s be clear here.

Michael J. Burry did not receive a visit from the SEC for his position in GameStop or any other stock he may have been involved with.

The Feds and Twitter went after him for this tweetstorm above.

What is so threatening about this Twitter post?

Is the United States government, in particular, the Federal Reserve bank, at risk of collapsing?

You can certainly infer that by their actions.

Yes, it is true, that Dr. Michael J. Burry has a huge following on social media and elsewhere.

There are two reasons for that.

The first is the obvious.

What he did from 2005 to 2008, when only a handful of people in the world, saw what he saw, and was able to profit from it, tells you how smart and consciously awake Michael Bury is.

The second reason is that Michael J. Burry is an honest and upfront man who is in an industry that is run by grifters and criminals.

I am referring to the Wall Street banks including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and of course, the Federal Reserve bank, and their forever rigged games, the U.S. stock market, and bond market.

You can already see hyperinflation of the U.S. dollar, in terms of the stock market, bond market, real estate market, and Bitcoin(#btc)

The Bitcoin price has done a moonshot in terms of the U.S. dollar just this year.

Then there is the price of the U.S. stock market and bond market, in terms of the U.S. dollar.

Hyperinflation is ramped in both of these markets including the real estate market which is at an all-time high. Higher than in 2008.

The only two asset classes and currencies you are not seeing hyperinflation in are the gold and silver markets.

There is a reason for that.

These two assets/currencies are hated by the Federal Reserve even more than cryptocurrencies, and they will do whatever is necessary to keep the U.S. dollar price of gold and silver as low as possible using derivatives and their control of the exchanges.

Silver prices have risen some over the past 12 months, but, in real terms compared to the amount of U.S. dollar debt that is being printed, silver alone should be over $1,000 U.S. dollars.

Dr. Michael J. Burry was trying to warn his fellow Americans in order so they might take necessary precautions to keep themselves from being completely wiped out, like what happened during the Weimar Republic in 1920s Germany.

I have warned people several times.

Anyone holding onto paper assets will be completely wiped out.

The second and final phase of the financial collapse is here.

The first phase was in 2008.

There will not be a third phase.

This brings me back as to why Twitter forced Michael Burry to take down his post and why he received a visit from the SEC and why his post was completely scrubbed from the internet.

Those who have control over our lives, Washington, Wall Street, and the Federal Reserve want Americans to be completely dependent upon them when the second and final phase of the financial collapse is complete.

They want Americans to accept their new digital “crypto” currency, called the U.S. Digital Dollar.

Remember what conspiracy researcher, David Icke, always says: Problem-Reaction-Solution.

They create the problem, which of course they have in terms of the trillions and trillions of unpayable debt, then the American people react, and they will be completely wiped out if the majority of the holdings are in paper assets including stocks, bonds, cash, and real estate, and then they will come up with a solution to save you. The Digital U.S. Crypto Dollar.

Once again, here is famed investor Michael J. Burry from his February 2021 Twitter post:

People say I didn’t warn last time. I did, but no one listened. So I warn this time. And still, no one listens. But I will have proof I warned.” Dr. Michael J. Burry

People are partying like it is 1929 all over again.

The second and final phase of the financial collapse is the collapse of the U.S. dollar empire.

This collapse will make the Fall of Rome look like a walk in the park.

Will you be ready?

Is anyone listening to Michael Burry?

How to Work Remotely and Succeed

Does Remote Work Really Work? 4 CEOs on the Future of Their Workplaces

Does Remote Work Really Work? 4 CEOs on the Future of Their Workplaces
Is work … a place? Founders are divided on whether to return to their old way of doing business.

Founders and executives around the globe have taken lessons learned over the past year to inform their view of what their workplace will look like in the future. At this week’s Collision conference, the future of the workplace was top-of-mind–though founders had a wide diversity of expectations about how their companies will work coming out of the pandemic. Here are a few of the most fascinating.

More satisfied, talented, global workforces

Phil Libin, the founder of Evernote, All Turtles, and upstart video-presentation platform Mmhmm, says having gone all-virtual has given his company superpowers–and he’s not willing to give those up by returning to a physical office. He has vowed with his most recent two companies that his teams will never return to offices post-pandemic. The first superpower he cited was the ability to hire talent not just locally–but anywhere in the world. “All of our job listings say ‘global,'” he said Wednesday. “I’m never putting the ‘in’ back in place.”

Second superpower: not commuting. “Why would I ever give up the superpower of giving every person on my team two extra hours a day?” And third: helping employees avoid the extreme expense of housing in major cities. “Why could every person on my team not live in a nice house with a nice school district, if that’s what they want?” he says.

Remote work requires different processes than office work

Jason Fried, the founder of Basecamp and author of Remote: Office Not Required, is firmly anti-Zoom and pro-asynchronous work at his all-remote company, which makes tools for employee communication. Now that much of the rest of the office-worker world has experienced remote work over the past year, he’s hoping other companies embrace a bigger idea: that the nature and strengths of remote work are very different than in-person work.

For employees on dedicated projects, requiring focus or creative critical thinking, working remotely can be far more productive than working in an office, he says. But a lot of companies are doing it wrong–allowing the digital distractions of constant Slack notices and interruptions of Zoom meetings to disrupt the workflow afforded by solitary work at home. He advises helping employees manage their own time and get the most out of long stretches of solo work by keeping important decisions out of real-time chat. “The expectation of immediate response is really toxic,” he says. “What’s healthy is giving people long stretches of time to do their work without … the pressure to pay attention to a dozen real-time decisions at once.”

Teams have the opportunity to work smarter and more empathically

Jonathan Notaro, the founder, and chief creative officer at Brand New School, a branding agency that works in production, said this year of all-remote work has made harnessing his teams’ creativity more challenging. “So much of our work happens through discourse,” he said at Collision Thursday. “Those pieces of magic are so much harder to harvest in this environment.”

But he’s seen bright spots–and moments that made his company stronger. Having Zoom windows into colleagues’ and employees’ homes has given him insight into their personal priorities and passions, and brought his team closer. “You start to think more about their personal lives,” he said, “because it’s right there. I think that’s been a real gem from this whole experience. It’s made us all closer.” Brand New School has had to think harder about scheduling and is more disciplined about meetings after a year of remote working. Notaro said: “I feel like we’ve become more focused.”

Office work and gathering will be a lot more exciting

The founder and CEO of Eventbrite, Julia Hartz, saw her company’s revenue drop to zero as the pandemic hit in March of 2020. After two rounds of financing and a company restructuring in the first 90 days of work-from-home, her company saw a boom in digital events. Now, as restrictions on gatherings lift around the globe, she’s expecting the physical event ecosystem to flourish as well. “We are heading into a Roaring ’20s! Never underestimate the power of humans who feel they deserve something,” she said.

As for the return to work, Hartz doesn’t expect all her employees immediately to start daily commuting but says since Eventbrite was founded on the premise of gathering in person, the company will continue to operate office “hubs” around the world where employees can work and meet. “If we do it right, people will look forward to coming to the office, to see each other and to collaborate,” she said.Inc. helps entrepreneurs change the world. Leading people is not an easy task. A thousand and one responsibilities fall on your shoulders. After all, leaders are the safeguard against chaos. They are the engine of a group. What defines a great leader? An upright stance and a proud poise? Intelligence and valiance? The will of steel and steadfast determination? Often, we seek something in the leaders we lack. However, different challenges require different qualities from a chief. So, we may spend days enumerating all the possible traits a leader could have. There is no limit to perfection. Instead, we will concentrate on a specific side of a leader – his attitude towards the others.

The way you treat people makes them respond accordingly. Obviously, you can choose the path of tyranny, fear, and oppression to be an effective leader. You will force people to do things, they will obey, and technically you are a leader. But this is a slippery slope. Coup d’états and rebellions are the results of such leadership. If you want to be the one that people follow deliberately and with loyalty, you should possess the next traits.

1. Determination

Let’s start with the obvious. You must be determined enough to get somewhere and not give up on the way. A determination is an obligatory minimum for a leader. People will not follow if you cannot move forward. They need inspiration, and you give it to them through action.

2. Responsibility

Being a leader means you are responsible for the team. Every member of your group confides in your decision-making abilities. You cannot let them down. Your purpose is to lead them. In other words, wherever your team ends up, it is your victory or failure. You are the face of your group. When everything goes to hell, you are the first to meet the devil. If you can bear that burden, the leadership is for you.

“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” — John Maxwell

3. Genuine Empathy

Empathy is how well you can understand the emotions of others. It is the key to successful relations with anyone. If you feel what another person feels, you can better navigate through the reality of that person. Understanding their pain, you are more prone to help – it is becoming personal for you.

There are many ways to show empathy: listen more, be attentive to others, do not judge hastily. It is not about forgetting your problems and turning into the selfless altruist to the end of your days. It is about paying attention. Just give a bit of your warmth to others along the way and try to understand them. Maybe, you can help them somehow. People remember such things, and they will respect you.

4. Positivity

Positivity is a useful tool. We all have dark moments in our lives, and unless we have a light with us, it is easy to get lost in the darkness. The moodiness stretches out, everything is dull and gloomy, and irritation takes its place. We snap at each other, but nothing resolves. Ill humor is a tricky enemy: it makes you forget about good times and joy. If you can fight that with optimism, then you have a torch to lead others through the darkness. People will seek your company to get warmer, and they will be happy to have you as their leader.

5. Open-mindedness

You should not be close-minded, being intolerant to different people or ideas. If you cannot accept something new, alien, or better because of your personal preferences, fear, or pride, you will have problems. Times are a-changin’, as Bob Dylan sang, and so is the world. To keep up with the innumerous trends and progress, you need to get on board with it. Also, it simplifies your communication with other people as their personality does not affect your judgment.

6. Ability to Learn

This is the logical continuation of the previous paragraph. The ability to grow, adapt, and acquire new skills is a must for a leader. Learning from your mistakes is another thing. Everyone makes mistakes. Leaders do as well. However, accepting your failures and learning from them is important. Do not let ignorance take hold of you.

7. Straightforwardness

Sometimes, team members can make a mistake. Do you have it in yourself to show them their fault? Can you reprimand or fire someone if the need arises? You are responsible for your team, remember? If someone jeopardizes its future, you must deal with this person. You cannot play only a good cop here.

8. Humility

Can you bide your mistakes? Can you ask for help from your fellow team member? Your ego and pride should not stand in your way. You are not some infallible machine that should perform flawlessly. You cannot know everything. A team works as one, and you are a part of it – ask for advice or support when needed.

9. Approachability

Other team members should not fear coming up to you. If they are afraid of reaching out, you have a lack of trust. It might lead to secrets and unspoken words. Secrets are bombs with a long fuse, of which you do not know. To avoid that, you need to establish an open-door policy. Work on your relationship with the team: your leadership depends on it.

“The price of greatness is responsibility.” – Winston Churchill

10. Self-care

The final point is all about yourself. To be the most effective, you should care about your well-being. Your physical and mental health are the fuel of your energy. You cannot be optimistic, think a few steps ahead, make decisions, and be an inspiring example for others when your mind and soul are in the wrong place.

We often tend to forget about the need for rest and recreation, joy and happiness while pursuing our professional growth. There should be enough sunlight and alimentation for a plant to grow. There should also be enough good things for you to live on and succeed.

Congratulations, if you have all those traits within yourself. You should be good at leading others. If there is something you lack, do not get upset – everything can be learned and practiced to perfection. Look it up on the internet. You can find all the answers there.

5 New Habits to Help You Cultivate a Growth Mindset

How To Cultivate a Growth Mindset!

Originally Published on Apr 3, 2021

By Samantha Madhosingh

As we raise children, we often teach them that grit, perseverance, and resilience lead to mastery and success. They do. But what are we teaching them about their intelligence and capacity to learn?  When children believe that they have been born with predetermined skills and abilities or with a fixed intelligence that they cannot change, they are more likely to avoid challenging subjects and create artificial limits on themselves that will impact them into adulthood.

In her book Mindset: The New Psychology of Success psychologist & researcher Dr. Carol S. Dweck suggested two general mindsets: fixed and growth. Someone with a fixed mindset believes that character, intelligence, and creative ability are unmoving givens that can’t be changed in any meaningful way. Looking perfect and avoiding failure at all costs becomes a way of maintaining that inner sense of competence. When challenged or frustrated by a task, you may hear people say things like, “I’m so stupid because I don’t know how,” or “I’m lousy at this, and I can’t get any better.” They don’t know how to do something and don’t want to make an effort because they believe they should only do what they already know how to do or what feels easy. This risk-averse mindset can lead to an unwillingness to push yourself to do challenging things.

By contrast, Dweck suggests that a person with a growth mindset thrives on challenge, seeing it as a launchpad for growth and for extending existing abilities instead of evidence of unintelligence. With a growth mindset, you focus on continuous improvement and self-awareness through ongoing feedback. You recognize that you can improve through your specific efforts and deliberate practice. You can see yourself changing and growing through application and experience. Having a growth mindset means that for you, challenges are an opportunity for growth. You understand that your brain can learn new, complex tasks (at any age) and develop with training and effort. You may start thinking things like, “I can do hard things,” “It’s ok to make a mistake; that’s how I learn,” “With practice, I can and will get better.”

“In a growth mindset, challenges are exciting rather than threatening. So rather than thinking, oh, I’m going to reveal my weaknesses, you say, wow, here’s a chance to grow.” – Carol S. Dweck

So why is it vital to know about and develop a growth mindset?

The truth is that having a growth mindset and doing the hard things will absolutely help you accomplish more than you could even imagine. However, if you were born and raised in the 20th century, you were most likely not raised with a growth mindset. Before 2006, when Dweck’s Mindset book was published, children were more likely to be raised to believe that talent, intelligence, and ability are given at birth and governed by genetics. There are probably several skills and abilities that many may have given up on developing or not focused their efforts on because they believe that they lack the capacity to do them well. When they allow their default programming and conditioning to dictate how much effort is put into learning new skills without challenging norms, they will be subconsciously holding themselves back and miss out on exploring the outer limits of their talents.

I know that for me, there have been many times in my life that I just decided, “I am not good at that,” and just avoided the challenge. I, like many others of my generation, grew up having a fixed mindset. For example, I was convinced that I was no good at math. As a result, I did not like it and made little effort because it seemed too hard. My fear and loathing of all things math-related meant that I did not get my bachelor’s degree in psychology or business, subjects I really liked, because both had an advanced math requirement, and I was certain I wouldn’t be able to do it.

The ironic thing, however, is that ultimately, I had no choice but to overcome my conviction that I was lousy at math if I wanted to pursue any degree in psychology. I was required to take a statistics class at the undergraduate level to get into a program and then a graduate-level research and statistics course. What I learned by completing both courses with an “A” was that by being willing to ask a million questions and putting maximum effort into understanding what seemed challenging, I could do things I had previously believed were not possible for me.  At the time, I did not know that I was applying the principles of having a growth mindset.

If you have a fixed mindset, here are five habits to help you cultivate a growth mindset. For the next 90 days, focus intentionally on integrating them into your daily life; being intentional means writing them down, thinking about them, and asking yourself, honestly, if you are using them.

  1. Be Curious and creative. Challenge yourself to learn something new every day and go beyond your comfort zone. You will discover new strategies to implement that will help you achieve goals you previously thought were impossible or too difficult. Keep tweaking them for effectiveness.
  2. Be Committed to the growth, goals, & promises you make to yourself. If you want to see progress, it is essential to toss out the excuses and stay the course. Decide what you are going to do and that there is no room for excuses. Commit to your decision and then do what you have committed to for the time you have committed to doing it. Hold yourself accountable for your commitments.
  3. Be Consistent with your efforts. Consistency is the key to developing new habits and learning new things. It is also usually one of our biggest hurdles and where good intentions fall apart. Be focused on your efforts. Decide what, when, and how you will channel
  4. Be Courageous in the face of challenges. Setbacks and challenges are learning opportunities. They are your most significant opportunity for growth. Embrace them. Seek solutions and make adjustments. No matter how exhaustive your plan or fine-tuned the details, obstacles will surface unexpectedly and, unless you have a crystal ball, you won’t always be able to predict exactly what obstacles will occur. So, don’t waste energy on that. Instead, face obstacles when they show up with the lens of curiosity and be focused on solutions. Be agile in both your mindset and approach.
  5. Embrace Constructive feedback & leverage it for growth & expansion. Sometimes your best prospects for personal and professional development come from utilizing corrective feedback to grow. Ask mentors and supervisors for specific feedback to give you clarity on the skills needed to move forward and the blind spots, obstacles, and pitfalls you may not be able to see by yourself.

By deliberately and intentionally focusing on these five habits daily, your life and work will shift positively in ways you can’t imagine. You will have more confidence because confidence is built through working on your skills and seeing growth and improvement over time. Making an effort is the only way forward, so be willing to do the work. Each new day is an opportunity to try again, so try again.

If You Want to Be a Successful Entrepreneur, Take Note of These 7 Lessons

While everyone seems to have a good business concept, few ever execute their ideas successfully.
If You Want to Be a Successful Entrepreneur, Take Note of These 7 Lessons
By: Alejandro Saracho

One of the main objectives of creating a business is related to the generation of wealth: for the environment, for society, and for the business owner.

The generation of wealth is related to money and its correct management. Many entrepreneurs start their business as operators or technicians and never delve into money management. That makes their businesses stay small or not survive over time.

That is why I decided to write this article entitled “7 secrets of money to undertake successfully”:

1. Entrepreneurial Mindset

Many people think that all they need to start is a good idea. Unfortunately, it is not like that, good ideas abound everywhere and are destined to die if you do not have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Creating a new business requires hard work, high tolerance for frustration, being willing to carry on when it seems like all is lost, implementation, implementation, and more implementation. But above all, it requires an obsession to achieve your dreams, more than an obsession to generate money.

If you look for money, your chances of success will decrease (because at the beginning you won’t have it). If you seek to transform people’s lives and make a change on the planet, money will come as a consequence.

So do you or do you not have an entrepreneurial mindset?

2. Viable Business Model

Most people who start a business become obsessed with their brand and their product, and this is one of the most common mistakes I see in entrepreneurs. Your brand and your product are worth nothing unless they show that they are capable of generating money.

  • First: you need to make sure that someone is willing to buy your product/service. Describe who your valuable customer would be, approach people who meet the characteristics, and see if they are willing to buy.
  • Second: you need to develop your business model — that is, know how to interconnect all parts of your business. You need to know how you are going to attract prospects, how you are going to convert them into customers, how you are going to produce and deliver your product or service, how you are going to charge, and how you are going to pay. When you have it assembled, you will realize that your model requires money to function. Those are your costs and your expenses.
  • Third: you need to make your financial statements or your numbers and make sure that your business is profitable and scalable. You find profitability when you calculate your sales minus your costs and minus your expenses. You find scalability when you validate that there are many people who meet the characteristics of your valued customer, that you can serve them through your business model, and that you have enough money to start and maintain it.

If you meet these three points, we can say that your business is viable. If you realize that it is not, you can adjust your business model as long as you validate that someone is willing to buy what you offer.

3. Absolute Austerity

One of the mistakes people make when starting their business is that they buy and overspend. They look for the best computer, the best offices, the best car or they use their money on things that are not directly related to generating sales.

A principle that Carlos Slim uses that I highly recommend is called Absolute Austerity. When you buy something, make sure that it is directly related to the generation of sales.

If you need a computer, ask yourself which computer meets your basic needs (not which one meets the needs of your ego). And ask yourself, if I buy a more expensive computer, will this increase my sales?

4. Cash Flow

Cash flow is the gasoline that drives businesses. Many businesses that are highly profitable (that is, that generate profit), die because the entrepreneur or business owner did not know how to manage their cash flow.

There are three levers that I recommend to manage your cash flow well:

  • The first: charge before and pay later. In this way, you can finance your business with the money of your clients, instead of you becoming their bank.
  • The second: handle low inventories. One of the places where your money gets stuck is in inventories if you have too much of it. Try not to give in to the temptation to buy too high a volume for a discount.
  • The third: reserve of protection. Try to have enough backup money to pay for one to two months of business. There are always fat cows and skinny cows. When you don’t have the money to pay for the lean operation, a profitable business ends up going out of business.

5. Reinvest Your Profits

One of the temptations of the entrepreneur is to spend his earnings as soon as they arrive. My suggestion is to reinvest them in the same business. You can use them to attract more prospects with marketing and sales or to streamline your operation and lower your costs and expenses.

Until when should you reinvest your earnings? Until you have reached a good critical mass and the business can operate even without you.

6. Plan Your Transition

One of the questions that I get asked the most is: when is the right time to quit my job and dedicate myself fully to my business?

The answer is when your business is able to generate enough money (consistently and constantly) to replace the salary that your work generates.

It is important to plan the transition with clear goals and objectives. In such a way that you say: in six months the business must leave me this amount of money. When I reach this amount of money I will quit my job. This way you will know where to focus and when the transition will occur.

And I know that many entrepreneurs are kamikazes and are willing to quit right now.

Can you do it and achieve it successfully? Of course. However, if you want to avoid or lessen the impact of entrepreneurial trauma and emotional crises, I recommend planning your transition.

7. Continuous Learning

This part is essential for any entrepreneur. You need to be willing to continually learn if you want to be successful. If you don’t like learning, maybe entrepreneurship is not for you because, in a short time, you will become obsolete and the business will end up failing.

Now, there is a type of education for every purpose.

  1. If you want to learn to be a better collaborator in a company, you need to consider academic education (such as masters, diplomas, specialties).
  2. If what you want is to learn how to generate better results in your business, what you need is focused education (such as conferences, seminars, workshops).

The difference between the two is that the first gives you a lot of theory (and takes a lot of time) and teaches you how to run someone else’s business and the second teaches you implementable principles (in a short time) and teaches you how to run your business.

What is the first thing that I recommend you learn? To manage your money. To manage your personal finances.

Business money is a reflection of how you handle your money. If you learn to do it, you will achieve that your business generates sustainable results.

How To Survive The Upcoming Hyperinflation Predicted By Michael Burry

Dr. Michael J. Burry from the “Big Short” Fame Is Warning People of the Upcoming Hyperinflation of the U.S. Dollar. And, Again, No One Is Listening.

Dateline: Creve Coeur, MO. USA/February 26th, 2021/By: Jeffrey L. Klump

He made a name for himself shorting the sub-prime housing market in 2005.

Dr. Michael J. Burry made billions for himself and his investors when he decided to short the housing market.

Everyone at the time thought he was crazy.

This writer told people in 2003 that there would be a major crash in the real estate/housing market.

I was laughed at and told real estate never goes down.

Enter Michael Burry once again, and on February 20th, 2021, when he sent out a Tweet Storm from his Twitter account Cassandra@micaeljburry.

In the tweets that were sent, which have since been deleted by Twitter, Burry warned everyone that we are approaching a hyperinflationary event for the U.S. dollar, similar to what happened in Weimar Germany in the 1920s.

Here is part of that saved Tweet from Michael Burry: People say I didn’t warn last time. I did, but no one listened. So I warn this time. And still, no one listens. But I will have proof I warned.

You can already see hyperinflation in asset prices including the U.S. stock market, bond market, and real estate market.

Your Dream of Working From Home and Enjoying the Good Life Is Here. Click to Learn More!

All of these markets are at all-time highs and none of these markets reflect any sense of reality.

Here is another excerpt from Michael Burry’s Tweetstorm:

The US government is inviting inflation with its MMT-tinged policies. Brisk Debt/GDP, M2 increases while retail sales, PMI stage V recovery. Trillions more stimulus & re-opening to boost demand as employee and supply chain costs skyrocket. #ParadigmShift

The U.S. dollar has already been hyperinflating in terms of the U.S. stock market and bond market.

When you see markets like this at unreal prices, that is hyperinflation in terms of those assets because prices are measured in U.S. dollars.

The U.S. dollar has hyperinflated in terms of Bitcoin #BTC as well.

Bitcoin was over $60,000 U.S. dollars at one point during the past week.

In some African countries, Bitcoin is over $80,000 in terms of their country’s paper currency.

If you need information on Germany’s Weimar inflation during the 1920s, Click Here.

There are 2 assets that have yet to hyperinflate versus the U.S. dollar, and when they go hyperbolic, it is game over for the U.S. dollar empire.

Those assets are physical gold and silver.

Both of these assets are affordable in terms of the U.S. dollar, but that will not last long and you will have trouble finding both. They are in very high demand.

Michael Burry has a knack for seeing things unfold in the future because he actually sees things right now in reality. Not as if he wants them to be, but as they really are.

Even Bank of America is sounding alarm bells regarding the hyperinflation of the U.S. dollar. Click Here to read.

Gasoline prices are already going up. Joe Biden is taking the blame for it, but he has nothing to do with the increase in the price of oil.

Gas and food prices are going up because the U.S. dollar is failing. It is in the early stages of hyperinflating in terms of retail goods and services.

Listen carefully to the smartest man in the world, Clif High from HalfpastHuman.com. He talks about “Wooflation” which is a combination of inflation, deflation, and hyperinflation.

The only way that you will be able to survive the hyperinflationary storm of the U.S. dollar, is to get out of the dollar, as much as possible.

Do what you can to find hard assets like physical gold and silver.

Another asset you may have access to is Trees. Lumber prices are at an all-time high.

Wall Street has rigged the system in both the stock market and bond market to their favor.

This was proven just recently by the Reddit Raiders and their unbelievable short on GameStop.

That event alone showed the whole world just how rigged and fraudulent the U.S. financial system in total, is being manipulated.

Click Here for the full story.

You want anything physical and tangible.

Take your money out of the banking system.

Physical paper dollars will have some value for a period of time, but if your bank fails, you are screwed. Don’t expect the government to come save you. They will be putting out all kinds of other fires.

Water and food should be at the top of your list to have on hand. You cannot survive without them.

This is the second phase of the financial collapse that I have been predicting.

The first phase was in 2008.

Are you ready for everything and anything?

People say I didn’t warn last time. I did, but no one listened. So I warn this time. And still, no one listens. But I will have proof I warned.” Dr. Michael J. Burry

How To Face Fear and What It Means to Grant Cardone

What Does FEAR Mean To You And How Do You Face It?

What does FEAR mean to you and how do you face it?  Everyone feels fear. I do. You do. Everyone. The only difference is how we each react to fear. I’ve always thought that fear has two meanings which sum up the two basic ways people deal with this unique and complicated emotional state. FEAR can mean:

Forget Everything And Run

Or it can mean:

Face Everything And Rise

The real key to overcoming fear and not letting it control you. It’s about not caring what people think of you.  It’s about not wanting to impress anyone but yourself. It’s about having nothing to prove to anyone. When you refuse to let fear control you it becomes possible to do what you want as you pursue your passions, your desires, and your goals.

I’ve felt fear in all forms. I have even been afraid for my life as I was being pistol-whipped by a drug-dealing thug.  Meanwhile, you’re afraid of what? That you’ll fail? That you’re not good enough? That you’ll look stupid? That people will laugh at you?

Been there. Done that. So what? People ain’t laughing at me anymore.

What would your life be like if you never gave in to fear? What would you be like as a person if fear didn’t have so much control over you?

Your Dream of Working From Home and Enjoying the Good Life Is Here! Click To Learn More!

Look, I get it. Fear is wired into us and it serves a purpose. It keeps us alert and ready to handle any unforeseen situations. However, it does not necessarily exist simply to motivate you to run away. You all know the expression “fight or flight”. Both come from fear and since both are an option, I’ll choose “fight” every time.

Why? Because I choose to. Because I can. Because what’s the worst that can happen?

If I fail I try again. If someone says “no” I keep asking until they say “yes”.

What Does FEAR Mean To You

I’m telling you that it is possible to conquer your fear so you can do what you love, make a massive impact, while having control over your income and your life but more importantly, I’m gonna show you…at the boldest, baddest most exclusive, action-packed 10X Growth Conference we’ve ever held.

I know that last year caused people a lot of uncertainty and yes, fear. The media sure didn’t help. But the people who didn’t give in to fear, like me and my 10X team, instead of running away or pushing the panic button, created opportunities and actually succeeded. I’m not bragging when I say we crushed it in 2020. I just want you to know that even in a time where fear is everywhere it’s possible to succeed.

I can show you how when you join me at the 10X Growth Conference which is now sold out but you can still attend on-line.

Now just so you know, I’m going to push you outside of your comfort zone. I will show you how to achieve goals you never thought possible.

Reddit Raiders Have Exposed The Blatant Fraud On Wall Street

The Group Known as the Reddit Raiders are Using Companies Like Game Stop to Show The Public That Wall Street and The Stock Market Is Nothing More Than a Ponzi Scheme.

Creve Coeur, Missouri USA, February 02, 2021/MEK Enterprises Blog/By: Jeffrey L. Klump

“Con-fidence”- the state of feeling certain about the truth of something. Firm trust.

They go by the name of Wall Street Bets. They are better known as the Reddit Raiders.

The Reddit Raiders are an online forum under the name of Wall Street Bets on the social media site Reddit.

No one really knows much about the Reddit Raiders but they appear to be a group of U.S. citizens that are tired of the fraud of Wall Street going all the way back to 2008.

Millions of Americans were forced out of their homes back in 2008 thanks in large part to the mortgage industry, the Federal Reserve, and of course Wall Street.

You Don’t Have To Risk Money In The Stock Market To Make Money. This Is Risk-Free. Click Here To Play!

Many Americans were affected by the 2008 collapse in the financial markets and they never forgot that the bankers got billions in bailout money while main street Americans were forced out of their homes.

No banker ever went to jail. No one from Wall Street spent time in prison.

Nothing was ever resolved from 2008. The private central bank known as The Federal Reserve printed trillions in bonds to paper over the problem. This debt that was issued by the Federal Reserve Bank will never be repaid and everyone knows it.

“The Con Works, Until It Doesn’t”

Jeffrey L. Klump

Fast forward to just a couple of weeks ago and most people never heard of Wall Street Bets or their number one long position in a company called Game Stop.

Game Stop is a brick and mortar company that sells video games and accessories. The company was a dog stock priced at around $2.80 a few weeks ago, and going nowhere.

Then, The Reddit Raiders stepped in after finding out several large hedge funds were short the stock. The Raider’s started to buy large amounts of Game Stop, and last week, the stock hit an all-time high of $496.00 per share. Fortunes were made by some, but the big hedge funds, some of which, were tied to Wall Street were bleeding badly.

Billions were being lost by some of these big hedge funds including Melvin Capital.

Melvin Capital is run by some snot nosed punk named Gabe Plotkin.

Plotkin was busy in South Florida buying up a couple of “tear down” properties when he got the call that he lost half of his net worth. Oops. Not a good time to invest in real estate.

The Reddit Raiders were primarily using a brokerage firm known for its zero cost trading, called Robin Hood.

Robin Hood is also in trouble financially from all of this trading caused by the Reddit Raiders.

What this all comes down to is this. Wall Street has been orchestrating a fraud on the American people, primarily through the U.S. stock market & bond market, for decades, and a group of citizens decided to expose the blatant fraud on Wall Street.

Wall Street and its friendly neighborhood regulators decided to halt trading in stocks like Game Stop until their friends in the hedge fund business could receive capital injections so they would not collapse.

If you or I lose money on a business venture including investing in the stock market, we do not get bailed out. Wall Street hates the little guy and is always out to screw retail investors.

The Wall Street banks and their friends in the hedge fund community don’t like to lose money, so they don’t. They only get to make money at everyone else’s expense.

“Wall Street is a casino and the house always wins”

Jeffrey L. Klump

Remember what comedian George Carlin said. ” It’s a big club and you ain’t in it”.

Along with staying in stocks like Game Stop and AMC Theaters, the Reddit Raider’s next big move is in the silver market.

Silver prices have gone up more than 10% since the Raiders started talking about destroying the short-sellers like JP Morgan Chase, late last week.

Physical silver is almost impossible to find right now. Dealers and suppliers have been cleaned out.

The Reddit Raiders have their work cut out for them when it comes to destroying the short sellers in the silver market.

The silver market is big and the biggest short seller on Wall Street in silver is JP Morgan Chase. They also happen to be the largest U.S. bank.

JP Morgan has unlimited funds since it is tied directly to the Federal Reserve.

This will not be easy for the Raiders, but the American people are already paying attention and buying tons of physical silver.

If the Reddit Raiders are successful in doing to the silver market what they did to Game Stop and AMC Theaters, you will see regulators step in and shut down the markets temporarily.

Shorting silver is tied to keeping the U.S. dollar stable and as the world’s reserve currency, trustworthy.

The Federal Reserve will do whatever is necessary to make sure the Reddit Raiders are not successful.

So, what is the message the Raiders are sending to Wall Street and their hedge funds? “Yippee Ki Yay, Mother Fuckers!”.

Whoever the Reddit Raiders are, they mean business!

What Are The Reasons Entrepreneurs Keep Playing Small?

3 Common Thought Patterns That Keep Entrepreneurs Playing Small
Avatar

Originally Published on Jan 28, 2021

By Tiffany Toombs

In recent years the topics of the power of our thoughts and human potential have been studied more and more, both in the lab and real world. These studies have shown undeniable proof of what thought leaders like Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay have always known – our thoughts are incredibly powerful and create the reality through which we experience our lives.

And while changing one’s thoughts to embrace more empowering thought patterns and beliefs can change one’s life in ways they never thought possible, we also know that entertaining the wrong thoughts can lead to self-sabotage, imposter syndrome and missed potential.

There are 3 common phrases that seem harmless on the surface, and yet their acceptance and belief only serve to keep people playing small.

1. It’s lonely at the top

It’s no secret that human beings are tribal creatures. We were made to live within communities and support each other. In the mind, a community or a tribe means safety. And ultimately survival.

When we buy into the notion that it’s lonely at the top, we activate one of our most primal fears to work against us. This fear of being alone, of having to possibly be rejected and having to reject or let go of those that we love, leads to a fear that we won’t survive on our own. This sets the fear center of the mind (the amygdala) into a proverbial lockdown, where we sabotage our success to maintain the relationships and connections we rely on and need.

Instead: recognize that success is defined on our own terms. And while the journey to success will push us to grow and improve many aspects of ourselves, we can also choose to maintain the relationships that are most important to us in life. Afterall, how we spend every moment is a choice – just as making money and growing a business requires effort, so do the relationships that we care the most about bringing with us on the journey.

“Every thought we think is creating our future.” – Louise Hay

2. Be realistic

Being realistic is the enemy to entrepreneurship and innovation. To be realistic means to put a limitation or ceiling on what you are capable of achieving. And what is realistic depends completely on one’s belief systems about themselves and the world around them.

Society has never in history been moved forward towards the innovation and technological advances that are a standard in our world today by people being realistic. It was once scientifically believed that humans could not run a 4-minute mile. Roger Bannister, however, refused to believe this notion and since he broke the 4-minute mile barrier in 1954, thousands of others around the world have done it since.

It was unrealistic to think that humans could fly across oceans in a metal tube, until the Wright brothers invented the airplanes. Early computer sales people were told that computers were a phase, today you can find one in most every home and business.

When entrepreneurs buy into the notion of being “realistic” they let their fears and limiting beliefs tell them what’s possible. Instead: believe in the extraordinary and your potential to create it!

3. If I am grateful for what I have, I’ll lose motivation to achieve more

Experiencing gratitude for what you have and what you have achieved will not leads to complacency or a lack of motivation to continue to grow. In fact, gratitude does quite the opposite!

Our unconscious minds, specifically the Reticular Activating System, is designed to seek more of what we focus on. When we focus on making money, we are continually searching for more ways to make money. When we focus on gratitude, we unconsciously search for more ways to be grateful or more things to be grateful for. Therefore, the more gratitude we experience, the more motivation we’ll have to continue to grow and achieve.

“Nothing can harm you as much as your own thoughts unguarded.” – Buddha

In fact, neuroscientist Andrew Huberman from Stanford University shares that by celebrating our wins and practicing gratitude leads to having more overall energy. When we are constantly in a hustle mode, always striving to achieve more and more, our bodies continue to produce cortisol, adrenaline and noradrenaline – a combination of hormones that is known to deplete our mental and physical energy in the body. If you’ve ever experienced a hit of adrenaline (whether jumping out of a plane or dealing with an emergency) you know this to be true – while you may experience an initial hit of clarity, focus, energy and strength, as soon as the adrenaline inducing event is over you find yourself exhausted.

Dopamine and serotonin on the other hand buffer the effects of these stress hormones so we can experience true limitlessness. Dopamine is released in the body when we celebrate our wins, both big and small. Serotonin is released when we experience and feel grateful for anything in life.

Moving forward, start celebrating your daily wins and find time to practice gratitude for what you already have so you can ride the wave of energy and motivation to your next win, and the one after that!

How to Be Seen As an Expert by Your Customers

Ten Ways to be Viewed as an Expert in Your Field.

BY: MARK HUNTER| Originally Published on: DEC 22, 2020|CATEGORIES: SALES LEADERSHIPSALES MOTIVATIONSALES PROCESS

Every week, I share new ideas and strategies on how you can be a more effective salesperson. Today, I want to share how you can and should become a subject matter expert to your customers. Hit subscribe so you get all the new videos I release every week. I want you to engage and immerse yourself in this content, so you can be more successful.

I feel like I could be a subject matter expert to you, and you could then be a subject matter expert to your customers, so here are 10 ways to be seen as an expert by your customers:

1. Ten Burning Questions

What do I mean by this? What ten burning questions do your customers most likely need answers to?

If you want to be a subject matter expert, you have to be able to bring answers to their ten burning questions. It takes time. I also want you to write down ten burning questions. What ten burning questions do your customers have? Create answers to them as you also answer their ten burning questions. You’ll see how much that increases your level of knowledge and enables you to share that with them. That takes me to number two…

2. Create Key Lists

One of the things I do each week is put out a video of ten key things that you can do to become a better salesperson. I put these lists out there as a way to be seen as a subject matter expert in sales. You can do the same thing and be seen in the same way. Create key lists.

You’re probably saying that you just can’t share them with your customer. That’s not true. Yes, you can share it with them. Put together a document and then email it to them. Ask if you can share it with them. You’ll be surprised at how quickly they will start to see you in a different light. Also, put it out on LinkedIn, social media, a blog if you have one, whatever it might be. Create a key list so people can understand your expertise.

3. Ask Tough Questions

Subject matter experts are not shy to ask difficult questions. Don’t be afraid to ask the kinds of questions that a lot of people don’t even think about. The customer may respond with “Wow, I hadn’t thought about that.”

Subject matter experts are always willing to ask questions that the customer does not have the answer to nor do they have the answer to, but that’s exactly how they become a subject matter expert. Why? Because those kinds of questions push them, they push them to go further.

4. Share Insights

Pick up a piece of information and share it. I will routinely email or copy. It could be something you just saw in a book or online, in an article or something. Routinely, I try to share information that’s valuable and insightful.

Your Dream of Working From Home and Enjoying the Good Life Is Here. Click on this link to Learn More!

5. 30 Minutes / Day

Discipline yourself to spend 30 minutes every day learning about your industry, your niche. Learn what you need. Commit to doing this for 30 minutes each day, and in six months, you’ll be a subject matter expert. This will give you a deep dive into your industry consistently. Now, you’re not going to know everything. However, you’ll know more than 95% percent than everyone else.

6. SME Peers

Surround yourself with people that are also subject matter experts. Spend time with those that are experts in their field, in a variety of topics/subjects. Personally, I have certain people that I call when I need help on this or this, in this industry or that. I nurture these people, but I know who these people are, so I can call them. This allows me to expand my knowledge base to help me better serve my customers.

7. Multiple Contacts

Well, this takes SME contacts and blows it wide open. Not only do you want to associate with more subject matter experts, but you want to know as many people as possible. The more people who know you, the more people will call you. The more people call you, the more you’re able to share your insights. The more insights you share, the more you’ll be seen as a sales expert – knowing how it all works.

It doesn’t do you any good to be a subject matter expert who shares with no one. You always want to have multiple contacts. With every customer I work with, I want to have multiple people who I can reach out to. Keep in mind that not every customer will have the same number of multiple contacts, though.

In a short time, you can be seen as a subject matter expert when you talk to so many different people in a variety of areas. I can’t tell you the number of times when I’ve lost out on business because I didn’t do that. I also can tell you the numerous times I have gained business because I have done that.

8. Industry Associations

Are you involved with them? Are you connected? Do you even know what industry associations are? Industry associations are all involved, all designed around expertise. If you want to be an expert in your field, you need to engage with these groups. Now, your schedule and time might not allow you to become super engaged, but you should still know what they’re doing. Be an active contributor. Be a helper. Subject matter experts are those who give rather than get.

9. Social Media

So, are you sharing your insights on LinkedIn? Are you sharing insights on various blog posts? I know a gentleman known without a doubt as a subject matter expert. He has five sights that he regularly goes out to. One of them is LinkedIn and the other four are industry sites. He focuses on them, and that allows him to be seen as a subject matter expert.

Subject matter experts are not worlded matter experts. They are very tight on one subject and the people that deal with that subject on a regular basis.

10. Universities

These come into play very simply. Your stature, your level increases dramatically when you can say that you have shared with this class or helped this professor. Look for various institutions – I can think of four or five right now that I am engaged with on a daily basis. I thoroughly enjoy working with them and it helps raise my stature as a subject matter expert.

There you go! Those are the ten things you can do now to work towards becoming a subject matter expert. I hope I’m seen by you as a subject matter expert. That is why I wrote the books, High-Profit Prospecting and A Mind for Sales. Pick up a copy of both today.

5 Powerful Reasons Why You Should Write Down Your Goals

Goals Serve a Purpose, but You Need to Be Thinking of Them Often
Avatar

Published on Jan 1, 2021

By Amanda Dudley

The year was 2017. Ninety-nine year old Annie was pictured smiling as a policeman handcuffed and led her into a cell. You’ve probably never seen a smiling convict before but Annie’s case was a little different. While most people would be shivering at the thought of being placed in a damp, dark cell, she had just achieved one of her life-long goals: getting arrested.

Everyone on earth (including your cat) has goals – from the Forbes-worthy plans to the downright ridiculous ones that would probably top the “craziest life goals you’ve ever heard of” list. The 6-year old girl down the street wants to own Disneyland someday, while your cat probably wants to become the only owner of your house. These goals can be achieved. However, the big question is how? How do you stop your goals from just ending up as unchecked items on a bucket list?

Even though there’s no clear-cut formula for success, one way to ensure that you can actually achieve your goals is to write them down. In fact, psychological studies have shown that people who write down their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them than people who don’t. But don’t just take our word (and statistics) for it.

Here are five solid reasons why writing down your goals is a surefire formula to success:

1. Increases motivation

Most people say that the Bermuda Triangle is the hardest thing to find. However, this isn’t exactly true. Do you know what’s harder to find? Motivation when you need it the most. For a lot of people, it’s quite easy to set and map out personal or professional goals. On the other hand, when it comes to actually take action, their zeal suddenly disappears. An easy solution to this problem would be to set a goal and then write it down immediately.

Studies have revealed that when you write down your goals, the motivation to achieve them increases substantially. Subconsciously, you would feel committed to the objectives you’ve written down and as such, take the necessary steps to achieve them. Writing down your goals is just like giving yourself a subconscious command. Consequently, each time you get distracted, your brain will subtly remind you of your goals and aspirations.

“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes.” —Andrew Carnegie

2. Makes it easier to remember

Believe it or not, a large number of people often forget their goals or aspirations. With the hustle and bustle of modern life, it’s far too easy to get distracted and forget about any goals or New Year resolutions you may have set. However, putting your goals on paper helps to enhance remembrance. Ever heard of the generation effect? If you haven’t, here’s a quick breakdown of this neuroscience term. The generation effect is a phenomenon when a person finds it easier to remember information generated by their own mind, rather than the information they read or picked up from a book. When you write something, your brain automatically assumes that it’s important and focuses on it.

For instance, if you read a travel guide to Paris, you’d most likely remember only a few bits and pieces from it. However, when you jot down salient points from the guide in your own words, your brain knows that this piece of information is more important than the one you just read from the guide. As such, you’d find it easier to recall it later. This is basically how the generation effect works.

Even though the generation effect seems like a fancy term, it’s more common than most people think. When you map out your goals and write them down, your brain assigns importance to them and as such, makes it easier for you to recall them.

3. Helps clarify your goals

Let’s admit it, our goals can be a little vague and non-specific sometimes. For instance, let’s assume your goal for the year was to do something daring. In this case, your goal for the year could end up in an epic fail because you’d spend so much time trying to choose a daring task.

It’s even harder because “daring” could mean anything, ranging from hiking up Mount Everest or drinking a bottle of hot sauce without water. However, writing down your goals would help to narrow your focus and clarify what you really want to do. This way, there’d be no room for confusion or dilly-dallying.

4. Enhances hope

Hope is one extra reason why you should be writing your goals as soon as you set them. When it comes to achieving one’s goals and aspirations, hope is an essential factor. Without hope, you’d most likely lack the drive to take the necessary steps towards achieving your target.

Writing down your goals and committing to them fuels hope and gives you something to look forward to. When you’re hopeful, you’re able to achieve your goals in no time at all.

“Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.” —Pablo Picasso

5. Sets boundaries between wishes and goals

What’s the difference between a goal and a wish? A shooting star. Just before you chuckle or roll your eyes at this joke, it’s important to note that there’s a whole world of difference between goals and mere wishful thinking.

Before your goal is written down, it’s just one of your thoughts or longings. However, the moment you pen down your goals, you give it substance and transform it from a wish to a target. It becomes something real and tangible. You could even set deadlines and action plans. This way, you won’t spend hours building castles in the air when you have a real target.

Any dream or goal can be achieved eventually. Sure, it may take time, but a great way to kickstart your success is by penning down your goals. Writing down each goal spurs your subconscious into action and transforms your passive longing into actual targets. This way, the distance between you and your aspiration will be shortened. At the end of the day, who needs shooting stars when you have a pen and paper?

How To Boost Your Brand and Business From LinkedIn in 2021

5 Reasons Why LinkedIn Will Boost Your Personal Brand and Business in 2021

by Michelle Griffin

For many years I thought LinkedIn was just the place to post your resume or look for a new and improved job.

Aside from promoting work‌ ‌events,‌ I rarely logged on and hardly posted. I didn’t think LinkedIn could help my already-established career.

Fast forward to earlier this year. I had recently left my long-time job to pursue my consulting side-gig full time and was looking for a way to connect with fellow marketers and meet potential clients in the mindset of the pandemic.

What I found surprised me. How had I missed out on this new and improved LinkedIn?

I soon started sending out connections and commenting on posts of interesting people whom I wanted to meet and learn from.

And it wasn’t too long before things started happening.

In just a few months, by interacting, engaging and offering insight, I met new colleagues, landed clients and was invited to speak on a podcast.

All by showing up daily on LinkedIn.

And the good news is you can do the same. Even‌ ‌if‌ ‌you’re‌ ‌new‌ ‌to‌ ‌LinkedIn ‌or‌ ‌have‌ ‌500+‌ ‌connections,‌ it can be a big boost to your career and client connections.

Here’s how:

Get found online, faster

If a recruiter or future client looks you up online what do they find? With a LinkedIn profile, they’ll find you faster and in the top rankings of search pages. Try it for yourself: Google your name and see it appear in the top three search results.

If you have a blog, Google also gives authority to LinkedIn’s long-form articles. That means you can update your existing blog or content, add it to LinkedIn’s articles section and have a better chance of it being found.

It’s your digital reputation, not your digital resume

When Microsoft acquired LinkedIn in 2016 for $27 billion, it became more of a professional social networking site rather than a resume and recruiter site. Each month new tools and features are rolled out often to showcase your skills and feature your best work to potential clients.

Think of your LinkedIn profile as the digital story of your career. It’s your online reputation and proof of your personal and professional achievements. That’s why many people forgo business cards and use their profiles to highlight their blogs, published articles, videos, photos and best podcast episodes.

Online networking is the new normal

This year showed us a digital presence is practically the ONLY way to meet and build relationships.

Gone are in-person weekly or monthly networking events, industry conferences and annual summits to connect with people who can move your career forward.

When‌ ‌we‌ ‌can’t‌ ‌meet‌ ‌face‌ ‌to‌ ‌face,‌ ‌how‌ ‌are‌ ‌you‌ ‌going‌ ‌to‌ ‌network‌ ‌and‌ ‌market?‌

LinkedIn is this place. Currently, there are 760‌ ‌million‌+ professionals worldwide and thousands of new members are added weekly.

Check out these impressive stats and see how fast LinkedIn is growing top-tier professionals.

It’s a friendlier and inclusive social site

It’s the business world so LinkedIn members are on their best behavior. Trolling, inappropriate messages and abusive behavior are not common.

As one connection told me, “People on LinkedIn post and comment about stimulating things that I find interesting and help me improve personally and professionally.”

He’s right.

I’ve met some of the friendliest, smartest and most encouraging connections on LinkedIn. And it’s not just people in my industry or country. From Australia, the UK and Canada, I’ve zoomed offline with professionals I would’ve never had the opportunity to meet in real life.

No matter your age, experience, country or industry, everyone can contribute and is warmly welcomed in the LinkedIn community.

Your Ticket to More Opportunities

You don’t have to have thousands of connections and followers to start seeing and making a difference. Even‌ ‌if‌ ‌you’re‌ ‌new‌ ‌to‌ ‌LinkedIn or if you haven’t logged on in years, just showing up and participating daily can make a noticeable difference to your personal brand.

LinkedIn can help you find:

A‌ ‌job‌ ‌you‌ ‌love

Perfect-fit clients

Awareness of your brand or business

Speaking‌ ‌opportunities

Investors‌ ‌to‌ ‌fund‌ ‌your‌ ‌next‌ ‌venture ‌

Influential‌ ‌people‌ ‌ready‌ ‌to‌ ‌collaborate‌ ‌with‌ ‌you‌

Let’s start connecting

I learned the hard way, wasted precious time and don’t want you to make the mistake I did. Start today so you can make your mark on the professional world.

I’d love to connect with you. Find me at https://www.linkedin.com/in/michellebgriffin.

What Are The 3 Reasons To Urgently Rebrand Yourself?

3 Reasons You May Need to Urgently Rebrand And Yes, Covid Is One of Them
Avatar

Published on Dec 12, 2020

By Shona Maitland

Your brand is your fingerprint, your voice, your very essence of business being. It’s the sum total of everything you do, everything you offer, everything you believe, everything you project. Get it right, and your business thrives. Get it wrong, and you could lose customers by the droves. Let’s avoid that at all costs.

Here are three important reasons you may need to rebrand urgently:

1. Your branding makes people think of a pandemic

When I write the word “Covid-19”, what images do you think of?  Sickness? Stretchers? Viruses? Microbes? Face masks? Colors like red, black, clinical blue, and surgeon-gown-green? What words do you think of? Contagious? Sick? Quarantine? Death? Cough? Sneeze? Testing?

How do you feel when you think about Covid-19? Scared? Isolated? Anxious? Annoyed? Angry? Grief-stricken? Lonely? These are just a handful of common images, feelings and words associated with the pandemic, and none of them are particularly uplifting.  Yet, they may be the very words associated with your brand, if elements of your branding remind people of the virus. You might be wondering, “How would any brand possibly be associated with Covid-19?”

Well, it might just be coincidence and plain bad luck. For example, years ago I saw a business logo on a van where the letter “o” within the logo was made into a little, spiky virus ball, almost identical to the ones we currently and constantly see on our televisions and news feeds.

If that company is still operating today, I’d suggest an urgent rebrand. Despite the logo possibly working for them in the past, it will now be linked, even just fleetingly and subconsciously, to something negative and dangerous. It could impact sales. In the above example, the logo lettering was deliberately crafted to look like a virus, but what of all the quirky shapes and images that accidentally look like viruses?

In my opinion, they should change.  It’s true, Covid-19 will pass but in the meantime, the owners of those businesses are trying to run their brands under a banner of positivity, which is challenging given the possible association with the virus. If you want a positive brand, you must create branding that triggers positive feelings, not negative ones.

“Brand is just a perception, and perception will match reality over time.” – Elon Musk

Make no mistake, brands are getting it wrong. Viewers in the United Kingdom were repelled by a KFC television advertisement featuring people licking their oily fingers in public spaces, after chomping on the chicken.

What did viewers instantly think of? Covid-19! They were unimpressed that KFC was encouraging people to lick their fingers during a health crises.  KFC pulled the ad. If they hadn’t, their brand could have been temporarily fried. KFC would have been seen as reckless and irresponsible, and definitely not doing their bit for the pandemic.

In a nutshell, Covid-19 is currently imbedded in the collective global conscience. If your branding is associated with it in a negative way, consider rebranding ASAP. If you cannot invest in rebranding, try to remove or tastefully obscure the images that create the negative association.

2. Your branding is offensive

Stroll around certain parts of the internet and social media, and you’ll see rampant, chest-thumping, offense taking. You aren’t expected to know everything people are offended about, needless to say, it’s a lot! Some of it completely frivolous. But there are also many legitimate reasons why people take offense.

With that in mind, the key areas to naturally avoid are: racism, sexism and anything that insults, attacks or marginalizes people because of their age, intelligence, religion, gender, sexuality, physical appearance, and mental or physical disabilities. A timely and well-publicized example of rebranding amidst the foreground of Black Lives Matter, is the NFL team formerly known as the Redskins, who are now temporarily known as the Washington Football Team.

Redskins is a disparaging term for Native Americans, and it had been the team’s name since 1933 after initially being called the Boston Braves in 1932, prior to moving to Washington. After years of protests from Native Americans, fans and players, the Redskins leadership announced they’d drop the name and logo after a review process, to the anger of some, and the relief of many.

There has been mockery around the temporary name: the Washington Football Team, and admittedly, it is beige – but likely deliberately so, to avoid any attacks relating to creativity, given it is impermanent.

Importantly, management understood the very message I’m highlighting in this article, that sometimes the need to rebrand is urgent. While it took the leadership a long time to get to this point, once the decision was made, there was urgency to follow through. Given the process of creating a new brand is going to take time, a temporary new name was pressingly necessary.

If you’ve ever received complaints about your brand, or sensed a general unease amongst clients and potential customers toward it; or indeed, felt uncomfortable yourself, it’s urgently time to rebrand.

“Branding demands commitment; commitment to continual re-invention; striking chords with people to stir their emotions; and commitment to imagination. It is easy to be cynical about such things, much harder to be successful.” – Richard Branson

3. You’re embarrassed of your branding

An entrepreneur came to me with a common problem. She’d started her business years ago with little money, creating the brand entirely on her own, including designing the logo. As her business developed, it quickly outgrew the branding, and certainly was not reflective of her polished image anymore.

Her embarrassment was so intense she stopped handing out business cards, using business stationery and telling people to visit her website. Yet, she saw rebranding as a low priority. Until of course, sales began to dwindle. All of a sudden, rebranding became an urgent task because she wanted to shout loudly and proudly about her business again, but couldn’t do so with her existing branding.

My suggestion is, don’t wait for business to falter. If you’re embarrassed about your branding, treat rebranding as a top priority, proactively rather than reactively.

Although rebranding is a process you’d like to undertake in your own time, there are occasions where it becomes an urgent matter, particularly if your branding causes offense or creates a negative perception around your business. In some cases, saying goodbye to your existing branding might be hard, but saying goodbye to your business, as a possible result of that branding, is much harder. Stay clear, stay respectful, stay congruent, stay the course.

5 Reasons Why Starting Small is the Key to Success

Essential Reasons Why Starting Small is the Key to Success
Avatar

Published on Nov 8, 2020

ByShawn Lim

“The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” This is one of the famous quotes from Confucius. And the success principle within this line explains how anyone can achieve anything they want if they are willing to put in small and consistent effort.

You may have heard of the best-selling book, “How to Win Friends and Influence People,” written by Dale Carnegie. But do you know that the book started as a set of rules printed on a card no larger than a postcard?

Carnegie prepared a short talk where he called it ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People.’ The short talk was well-received and was then evolved into a course. And he needed teaching materials for the course. And so, Carnegie wrote down the rules for his course on a card and delivered it to his fellow students.

And in the next season, he printed the rules on a larger card, then a leaflet, then a series of booklets, with each version expanding in size and scope.

After 15 years of teaching, research, and experimentation, he compiled his rules for his course and became the book, How to Win Friends and Influence People. That was how the best-selling book was written. One step at a time.

Remember how Apple started? It began with Steve Jobs and his friend Steve Wozniak launching their tech giant in Job’s garage. The same went for Amazon. Jeff Bezos and his team started Amazon selling only books. But Bezos had a big dream and today, Amazon is a multi billion-dollar company.

As you can see, everything started small. Every big success you have heard of started as a series of small steps.

Your Dream of Working from Home and Enjoying the Good Life is Here. The All In One, Plug & Play, Business In a Box, Has Arrived!

Therefore, the key to success is to start small. Below are the 5 reasons why you want to commit to taking baby steps:

1. It takes less time and energy

It is always easier to start small. Think about it, do you think it is easier to write a 300-page book or it is easier to write just 1,000 words a day? Of course, the answer is obvious. And because it is easier to start small, your resistance to doing the work will be lowered. You don’t need too much motivation or willpower to get small things done.

This is why it is so vital to focus on small victories. If you do only 5 small things a day, you will have accomplished 5 small wins. In a week, you will have produced 35 little wins. In a month, you will have 150 small wins. And within a year, you will have accomplished 1,825 small victories.

Do you think these small victories will accumulate and make a huge impact on your life? You better they will.

“It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.” – John Wooden

2. It prevents overwhelming

Another key reason you want to start small is that it prevents overwhelm. You see, one of the main reasons people procrastinate and put things off until a later time is because of the pain of doing the work.

They feel overwhelmed to do the work. They feel the pain. And hence, they choose to procrastinate and delay the work. However, when things are easy to do, you won’t feel overwhelmed by them. Again, it is easier to commit to writing just 1,000 words a day than to complete an entire 300 page book.

It is your psychology that is in play. When you look at the entire project, you feel like you need to spend a lot of time and energy to do it. But when you break down the project into small actionable steps, you can tackle one small step at a time.

You have to understand that every big thing once started small. When you try to do everything all at once, you feel powerless and overwhelmed by the scale of the work involved.

3. It grows your confidence and motivation

Imagine you have goals to pursue and you know what you need to do today to make progress, but you don’t do anything. By the end of the day, how will you feel? Guilty and not good, right?

But if you stick to your plan, take action, and make progress, how would you feel at the end of the day? You’d likely feel satisfied and motivated, right? Because you have done something, made progress, and are slowly moving towards your goals.

That’s what taking small steps will do for you. When you make progress, you feel good. It boosts your confidence and motivation level.

Here’s a great quote from Tony Robbins, “People who succeed have momentum. The more they succeed, the more they want to succeed, and the more they find a way to succeed. Similarly, when someone is failing, the tendency is to get on a downward spiral that can even become a self-fulfilling prophecy.”

This is why you want to make sure you are building upward momentum. Take small actions and make progress to build your momentum. The more momentum you gain, the more powerful you become.

This is Sol U Guard. Only from Melaleuca. The EPA has approved Sol U Guard as a killer of the Coronavirus. Find out more about Sol U Guard and the 400 other American Made products.

4. It gives you the ability to pivot

There is another essential reason to start small – it allows you to pivot. Let me give you an example. Imagine you want to write a weight loss book, but you have no idea what title to write. And so, you start with writing short articles with various titles across the same industry.

And then you notice that one particular article received the most engagements. People share the article, leave comments, and say how much they love it. And you decide to write a book based on the article.

That’s the pivot. You use feedback you get from the small actions you make and then grow it into something bigger. In business, it is called MVP, Minimum Viable Product. You want to quickly test to see if an idea works before you put in your time and money to develop the complete product. When you start small, it allows you to pivot by getting immediate feedback from your actions.

“Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still.” – Chinese Proverb

5. It simply is the first step

Yes, no matter how big or small your goals or the success you want, you simply have to take one small step at a time. You can’t skip steps.

Just like if you want to lose weight through exercise, there is no way you can skip the exercise and get to the result directly. Taking small steps are necessary because there are no shortcuts to success.

Therefore, dream big, and start small. You don’t have to commit to taking big and bold steps, because all you need to do is take one baby step at a time. Be consistent, and eventually, you will arrive at your destination.

How To Survive and Thrive During the Pandemic of Covid 19.

Starting a Business from Home is the Only Way to Survive and Thrive During the Pandemic of Covid 19.

Dateline: Creve Coeur, MO. USA.

By: Jeffrey L. Klump 10/03/2020

The world is much different than it was just one year ago.

People have gotten use to the new vocabulary such as “social distancing” and wearing masks.

Regardless of what political spectrum you may fall under, the economic implications are staggering.

Very few people are buying the propaganda that the economy is recovering.

We keep hearing, including at the most recent political debate, that the stock market is at an all time high.

That may be true, but the stock market has nothing to do with the real economy.

Massive jobs layoffs continue, and the lines at food banks are getting longer.

The most recent Gross Domestic Product(GDP) estimate is a staggering minus 31%. That number is huge and it maybe worse than that.

The United States economy needs to be retooling itself and getting ready to start producing items such as paper products and things that we have become way to dependent on other countries, especially China, but I do not see that happening.

Our trade balance with China is still out of whack which means we are way too dependent on them for basic materials including toilet paper, kleenex, scott towels, and the list goes on.

The United States for far too long has become a consumer nation and this needs to be reversed immediately, otherwise, our dependence on other countries will continue.

We must become a producer nation once again if we are to have any sort of the American Dream in our future.

That is where small business plays a huge role. The problem is, with the new rules and fear of the Covid 19 pandemic, that has put a stranglehold on small businesses from operating as normal and profitable. This in turn could lead to more jobs layoffs.

Those who are not mechanically inclined like carpenter’s, contractor’s, mechanic’s, tool & die maker’s, need to develop their own new skills from home.

There are literally thousands of ways to make money from home or online and not working for someone else. You could have an idea that could be worth a lot of money just rolling around in your head, and you never thought twice about doing anything about it.

Then there are already established companies looking for people to sell or promote their products for them.

One of the keys to creating long term wealth is by selling something or investing in something that produces monthly residual and passive income.

Covid 19 has changed the way America does business. Now, more than ever, people are starting a business from home. Here at Melaleuca, we have been producing American made products since 1985 and also provide a way for Americans to earn residual and passive income. To learn more,

Don’t look to Washington to save you. You should know by now that politicians only care about themselves and enriching themselves and their friends and financial backers.

Get together with your family and friends and develop a plan where you can work together on starting a business from home and then monetize it and share with others.

Learn to be dependent on yourselves and try to learn new skills that you can use and that you can eventually teach to others.

Most politicians and government bureaucrats have never started a business or been in business for themselves. They do not have any answers when it comes to improving our economy and helping you survive and thrive.

The only answer in Washington is for you to become dependent on them. That approach has never worked in any other country before and it won’t work here either.

Corporate layoffs are continuing. The need for people to earn additional income has never been greater. The new online classifieds ads list to help you make money, save money, and improve your life, is Jeff’s List.

So many people have hidden skills and talents that they never have tried to use before. Most don’t know they have them. Many have been told your idea won’t work and so they do nothing because no one supports them with positive reinforcement. Just think if Einstein or the greatest inventor, Nikola Tesla were told that, and they listened to them. Where would we be?

The current environment of Covid 19 is not going away regardless of who is in the White House.

You can, however, survive and thrive during the pandemic called Covid 19. All you need to do is believe in yourself and learn new skills and you will be on your way.

Why Are Sales People Needed In A Pandemic?

Are Salespeople Needed In a Pandemic?

BY: MARK HUNTER PUBLISHED ON: SEP 23, 2020|CATEGORIES: SALES MINDSETSALES MOTIVATIONSALES PROCESS1 COMMENT

Are salespeople even needed right now during pandemic? There are lots of businesses out there with a lot of salespeople saying that they’re not needed. Many companies are saying they are just going to take whatever business rolls into them, because right now during a pandemic, they can’t afford salespeople. Let me tell you something: you can’t afford to not have salespeople. Period.

I’m going to walk you through 10 reasons to help answer this question: are salespeople needed in a pandemic? But first, I hope you take a moment to hit subscribe, so you can watch the new video I post every week. Each video is on a critical topic that’s pertinent to the world we live in right now during a pandemic.

Salespeople are needed more than ever right now. The customer doesn’t know what they don’t know, so it’s your job as the salesperson, part of the sales team, to help them.

1. R&D Department

You are your customer’s research and development source. It’s your job to provide your customers with ideas. You are their department to research and develop in order to help them develop solutions. You have to be seen as operating in that area of expertise.

If you’re not bringing research and development insights to your customers, you’re not doing your job. All you’re doing is acting as a rain barrel collecting the business that comes in. Your job is to incrementally help your customers identify solutions. And that leads me to our next reason…

2. Solutions

Like I stated earlier, customers don’t know what they don’t know; therefore, unless you provide them with solutions, they will just go with what they think they need. The problem is that what they think they need might not even be close to what they really need to reach a solution.

It’s your job to be the critical person that doesn’t just supply them with what they want, but what they really need. That’s the solution.

3. Knowledge

You have more knowledge and more expertise regarding what you sell and how you help customers then your customers will ever have. I will continue to remind you that the customer doesn’t know what they don’t know. It’s true. The only way you counteract that fact is by bringing them more knowledge each time you meet with a customer.

Ask yourself what you can do with the customer today to help them become more informed. How can you share your knowledge with them?

4. Morale Builder

You might think this one is little bit weird. No, it’s not. Customers are more confused than ever. It’s strange times out there. Your objective is to be the optimist. Be the one to help them get through the uncertainty and struggles.

You are the morale builder to each of your customers. Oh, and by the way, as a salesperson in a company, you’re also the morale builder to the employees within the company, because you get to interface with every side out there. You get to see everything.

5. Networking Agent

This is different than just networking. Again, it’s your objective to help customers. This might relate to what you sell, but it might also relate to connecting with somebody else. Connecting people is helping people.

You are an agent to your network. When you do that, you increase the value that you bring to other people which will undoubtedly increase the value that you receive from other people. It works both ways.

6. Problem Solver

Go back to what we’ve been talking about again and again: customers don’t know what they don’t know. In addition, they often have a problem that they’re stuck on. Because of your knowledge, solutions, the research and development work you’ve done, you’re able to help them solve their problems.

Think about the times that you’ve been able to help customers overcome a challenge that they’ve been stuck on for a long time. It’s incredible when you’re suddenly able to provide a much-needed solution. Right now, that’s the value of why you need to be in sales and why as an organization, you have to have a sales team.

7. Economic Force

Is this some sort of macro solution to the global economy? No. You’re an economic force to your customers, because you’re helping them do whatever it is that they need to do more efficiently. This goes for B2B or B2C. This allows the customer to get onto their next thing, their next solution, and the next idea. You are helping them become more efficient. When we become more efficient, we become an economic growth machine.

Economic force has to do with our customers, but it also has to do with what we’re all doing internally. We’re helping. We’re helping our employees remain employed. We’re helping those vendors who sell to us stay in business. We are truly an economic force; sales is what will drive the economy back.

8. Customer Insights

This is incredibly valuable. As you talk with customers, you learn things, and this is what customers are looking for. This is really what they want. In turn, learning will help you too bringing ideas about how you can better help customers. It’ll provide ideas that you can share with others in your supply chain and vendors. What you learn can also be shared with other people within your own company.

Customer insights bring vital information. When I said research and development early on, I was looking from an external standpoint. Customer insights, on the other hand, is internal. You are the one who gets to take in all of this information.

9. Job Creator

You know that the more successful you are, the more stable your job is. Guess what that means? You are creating your job, but you’re also creating jobs for the people you’re helping.

Let’s go back to every other piece that I’ve been talking about here. You are helping businesses stay employed. Every day I meet with companies and my whole objective is to leave them in a better state, so they can create more jobs. That’s your goal too.

By the way, the job creator role that you play is also internal within your own company because remember, if you and sales weren’t out doing what you’re doing, other people in your company / supply chain wouldn’t have a job.

Stop Complaining About Not Having Enough Money. Click Here to Get Start with the TW3 Work From Home Business Opportunity!

10. Business Counselor

You must take this one very seriously.

Right now, because of all the confusion and chaos out there, it’s your duty to be the voice of reason and normalcy. You are the one who can listen and just share ideas. What you share may go way beyond anything that you sell or the industry that you work in. That’s the business counselor’s job, because at the end of the day, we are talking about B2B business to business and B2C business to consumer.

However, it’s also H.H., human-to-human. In that regard, you’re a business counselor and a human counselor. In a pandemic, salespeople are needed now more than ever. I can’t stress this enough. It’s one of the reasons I wrote the book, A Mind for Sales. I firmly believe that when you have a mind for sales, it’s amazing how you’ll power through every situation that comes your way.

Savvy entrepreneurs are familiar with Gary Vaynerchuk books like #AskGaryVeeCrush It and Crushing It. Those in the social media world know Gary Vaynerchuk as a brilliant marketer and entrepreneur. I had the opportunity to see Vaynerchuk speak before he was a social media phenomenon with eight million Instagram followers, and the lessons he taught that day are ones I still reference today.

It was 2007, and I was one of a group of 300 entrepreneurs who saw Vaynerchuk at his very first public speaking appearance. We had heard of this crazy Russian with the funny name, but none of us knew what to expect. I remember sitting there listening to Vaynerchuk speak and thinking, “This guy is amazing – but I have no idea what he’s talking about.”

Social media was still a burgeoning industry in 2007, and frankly, pretty much his entire talk went right over my head. So he finishes with his speech (no notes or PowerPoint, of course) and then says to the audience: “Any questions?”

I looked around the room, and there was an awkward silence. No one raised their hand. So I slowly put my hand up. Vaynerchuk calls on me. I gulp.

I said, “Well Gary, everything you just said was brilliant. But I have no idea what you just said.”

The audience burst into spontaneous laughter and applause. I think a lot of other people were thinking what I was thinking and were glad I spoke up. Vaynerchuk’s response is just one of the brilliant lessons he’s taught me in the decade-plus since then.

Give away your content for free

When I asked the question, Vaynerchuk didn’t miss a beat. He says to me: “What do you do?”

I said, “I’m a business coach. I help entrepreneurs grow their business and have more financial freedom and time freedom.”

He says, “Perfect! Do you sell books, online courses and coaching programs?”

I said yes.

He says, “Great! Now I want you to start giving away all that stuff for free.”

I sat there, dumbfounded. Remember, this was back in 2007. Today, everyone gives away content to bring attention to their brands and companies. But back then, it seemed like a new concept, at least the way he was saying it.

Long story short: I followed Vaynerchuk’s advice. (My momma didn’t raise no dummy.) I started giving away my content on platforms like FacebookYouTube, in videos, on my blog and on podcasts. Following his advice has become one of the cornerstones of my customer acquisition model, arguably the most important one.

Put family first

Soon after that first life-changing meeting with Vaynerchuk, I had a second opportunity to spend time with him — this time, when I hosted him in my car. Vaynerchuk was about to go on his very first book tour, so I called his office, asked for his assistant and told them: “Hey, I’m a huge Gary Vee fan, and I’d love to host him while he’s here in Ohio.”

His assistant said, “Great! We were actually looking for somebody to do that.”

“I’m your man!” I said.

I remember how focused and driven Vaynerchuk was, but the thing that stood out to me the most was how he put family first. Vaynerchuk would take phone call after phone call — with CEOs, celebrities, his staff. Because he was in my car, I couldn’t help hearing his end of the conversation. During many of these important phone calls, he’d say this: “Sorry man, I gotta call you back. My wife’s calling.” Then he would click over to speak with his wife, and without the slightest hint of irritation, he’d say: “Hi honey, what’s up?”

Vaynerchuk’s Twitter profile says “Family First,” but that’s something many people in our industry say without actually following through. But I can tell you from firsthand experience that Vaynerchuk does indeed put his family first.

Be present

One of the other things I noticed during that trip was how Vaynerchuk never hurried anyone. He was exactly the opposite of many of the divas you see on social media today. For example, after his book signing, I took him to a party that was held in his honor and filled with “Vayniacs” (passionate Gary Vaynerchuk fans).

You might expect the guest of honor to be “too busy” or “too important” to talk to everyone. Well, in many cases, you’d be right. But not our man Gary Vee.

Nope, Vaynerchuk took the time to talk with every single person who wanted to talk with him, no matter how long it took. He was completely present with each person. He looked them in the eyes and really listened to what they were saying.

Be yourself

One big lesson I learned from spending time with Vaynerchuk is that you have to be yourself (as cliché as it sounds). I swear I’m not making this up, but in the two days I spent with him, I never once saw him go to the bathroom; he ate about enough to fill a hummingbird; and according to his schedule, he slept maybe four hours a night.

I finally asked him about that, and he admitted, “I’ve always had a weird metabolism. I don’t need to eat or sleep much.” (I didn’t press him about the bathroom part.)

That might work for him, but I eat like a horse and need sleep, like a LOT of sleep. Don’t try to be like Vaynerchuk if that’s not your body or your metabolism.

I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Vaynerchuk and learn from him, as well as for the life and business lessons he taught me that I continue to use today.

How To Develop Traits For Success From 7 Entrepreneurs

7 Entrepreneurs and Their Traits That We All Can Develop for Success

Published 4 hours ago

on Sep 15, 2020

By Madhur Kushwah

Succeeding in life and entrepreneurship takes more than just desire and passion. According to many successful entrepreneurs, life rewards people who take time to cultivate their minds for success.

If you have read Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, you might recall his idea of a mastermind alliance. In case you’re not familiar with the book — a mastermind alliance is “a friendly alliance with one or more people who will encourage one to follow through with both plan and purpose.”

Imagine what wonders you would make if you could have the most successful people as your allies. In this blog post, I have listed 7 successful entrepreneurs and their advice to develop traits for success.

1. Gary Vaynerchuk – Enthusiasm

“If you 100% enjoy the chaos and the unknown, you’re an entrepreneur.”

Running a business involves dealing with many people and shouldering several responsibilities; at times, working this hard can exhaust you to unexpected levels. That’s why entrepreneurs need to be pleasantly energetic.

If you have watched any of Gary’s videos, you can visibly tell that his energy is on another level. Being energetic helps Gary work long hours, like 12 – 14 hours a day. Gary suggests practising natural optimism for high energy.

2. Grant Cardone – Confidence

“Comfort makes more prisoners than all the jails combined.”

Having confidence in your abilities will take you places. While on your entrepreneurial journey, people will point fingers at you for your decisions, choices and desires, but how you respond to them will depend on you.

The degree to which you have faith in your skills and vision will drive your efforts. If you have confidence in yourself, you’ll not budge from your goals. Confidence will also allow you to do more for other people. Keep doing the difficult things to build confidence, says Grant.

3. Narayana Murthy – Courage

“Progress is often equal to the difference between mind and mindset.”

Courage is the differentiating factor between successful and the rest. Entrepreneurship requires you to go out and make decisions that no one else is making. To do that, you need courage.

Many entrepreneurs fail not because they lack skills or resources, but because they shrink when they should expand. All the stories we hear are stories of courageous decisions and not cowardice. Without courage, there is no progress in life and business. According to Murthy, openness to new ideas is what makes people and organizations courageous.

4. Mark Zuckerberg – Change

“People think innovation is just having a good idea but a lot of it is just moving quickly and trying a lot of things.”

Change is the only constant in life and entrepreneurship, and people who realise this are usually the ones who change the world. Often we make the mistake of sticking to one way of looking at things, which hinders our progress. Learning how to move quickly and at the right time is the winning formula of the game of entrepreneurship. Mark states to move quickly, “iterate, learn from the feedback and go from there.”

5. Bill Gates – Gratitude

“Through it all, what makes you happy?”

On your entrepreneurial journey, there will be instances where you’ll feel dissatisfied with your progress. To keep dissatisfaction at bay, practise gratitude — it’ll keep you focused on your destiny.

Helping others to achieve their goals is one of the many ways to practice gratitude. You can also do philanthropic work to express gratitude. Practising gratitude generates a cycle of good relationships by promoting others to do generous work. Giving $41.3 billion away is how Gates expresses his gratitude.

6. Jeff Bezos – Patience

“Put the customer first. Invent. And be patient.”

Sticking to a long term vision and having patience while you build your dream is important for success. Having patience can help you stay in the present moment, and consider the big picture. If you look at Bezos’ journey, you’ll notice Amazon has been around for 26 years, but it feels like it’s been in business for 7 or 10 years, which shows how patient the multibillionaire has been in building his company.

Patience allowed Bezos to build Amazon from a suburban Seattle garage company to a multinational conglomerate. Bezos says, stay focused on long-term to be patient.

7. Steve Jobs – Leadership

“My job is not to be easy on people. My job is to make them better.”

Leadership is the most important trait of a successful entrepreneur. When you’re at the helm of an organization, people look up to you for inspiration and effective influential decision making. The ability to influence others will help you get the best out of the people.

Jobs has been arguably the most influential corporate leader in the last century which allowed him to build Apple from scratch. Developing leadership skills will also help you impact people and touch their lives. ‘No excuses’ is the way forward to be an effective leader.

How To Let Your Inner Leader Out

The 5 Ways On How To Let Your Inner Leader Out

Dateline: September 10th, 2020

By: Ben Grant

For some reason, many people think that such words as “leadership” or “leadership qualities” refer only to extraordinary people. But these words are not as special as they might seem to many. What is more, every person has the potential to become a leader, the only thing you need to do is wake certain qualities up. If you are doubting your skills, then our tips will help you reboot your inner leader. Below you will find out about the most common problems that prevent you from enhancing your inner leader, and the top five tips to help you solve them.

Why Don’t Most People Show Leadership in Life?

There are several common reasons that prevent many people from becoming leaders.

  • Unwillingness to Stand Out From the Crowd – Most people like to “live like everyone else” and go with the flow. In most cases, this is the result of their childhood experience. After showing an initiative at an early age, they received rejection or criticism. Therefore, the majority strive not to stand out from society, and calmly do what they are asked or ordered to do.
  • Internal Fears – Many people cannot reveal their inner leader due to the presence of fears and low self-esteem. The most common fear is the fear of failure. By the way, all this interferes not only with the manifestation of leadership qualities but also with living the way they really want to live. It is extremely difficult for many to cope with these fears on their own, but it is even more difficult to decide to fix these problems with the help of psychologists. Therefore, only a few become successful and can show their leadership potential.
  • The Misconception About Inner Leaders – Some people think that they will be able to show their leadership talent when needed. But in practice, they never reveal their potential. What is more, such people purposefully miss many opportunities and think that they will prove themselves next time.
  • Disbelief in Your Own Leadership Qualities – Many people think that leaders are born, not made. This stops them from awakening their inner leader and somehow expressing their individuality. Such people admire their successful peers but do not even know that they can do the same.

If at least one of the reasons seems to be about you, then it’s time to work on yourself and awaken your inner leader. It is important to remember that you have to follow the road to success day after day, since you cannot arrive at your final destination instantly. Therefore, the following tips will help you change your life.

“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Five Simple but Effective Tips to Awaken the Inner Leader:

1. Look Inside Yourself

In order to become a leader, you need to start working on your personality. To lead other people and make them listen to you, you need to learn to lead yourself and be able to hear yourself first. It is a lot of work, but it is the key to success. The ability to lead yourself will allow you to become a leader for others. Consider the following 3 questions:

  • Why do I want to be a leader?
  • What will the development of leadership potential bring?
  • How do I need to act and think?

When you start to understand yourself, learn to listen to yourself, and put everything on the shelves, then you can start to act. Therefore, the first thing to do is to begin to understand what leadership means to you.

Try to return to the above questions as often as possible, since, as soon as you start working hard in order to better yourself, your answers will change. These responses will guide you towards unlocking your inner leader.

2. Find and Accept Your Uniqueness

It is extremely important for you to bring out your uniqueness. Most people think that they are not that different from other people but, in fact, this is not at all the case.

List your strengths and unique abilities. Each leader knows his or her strengths, and each person has them. Most people think that it’s necessary to work on weaknesses, taking your strengths for granted. But to awaken leadership qualities, you need to start by working out the strengths. This does not mean that you shouldn’t pay attention to weaknesses at all, surely, you should work on fixing the critical ones too. But keeping the focus on your strengths will help you to boost your self-esteem and awaken your inner leadership potential.

3. Leverage Your Public Speaking Skills

Unfortunately, many people have a fear of engaging in discussions, and this may be the result of negative experiences. If this is familiar to you, then you need to learn how to fix it. Perhaps people are not listening to you because you speak incoherently or not clearly. Therefore, reading classical literature and video recording your speeches will become paramount in solving these problems.

Whilst everything is obvious with the first, the questions may arise about the second one. Pick a topic and start talking about it on video. After that, see what you have done, and your mistakes in your speech will immediately become apparent to you. Be sure to write down each problem, and the next time you do this exercise, try to fix it. By the way, this exercise will help not only improve your speech but also help to cope with the barrier of starting a conversation.

“It usually takes me more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.” – Mark Twain

4. Learn to Control Emotions

Most likely, you paid attention to the fact that you are more engaged when listening to those people who are emotionally balanced. Often such people emit positive emotions, but they never overplay them. So the next challenge will be to learn to control your emotions, calmly respond to criticism and always keep your emotional state under control. Real leaders are hard to drive mad. The previously mentioned exercise with video recording can help you with this too. For example, you may start a private video blog, and make a short video every day analyzing situations that happened, your emotions, and the ways you responded to them.

5. Be Yourself

Staying true to yourself and your principles is an essential skill of every leader. Most likely, in the early stages of working on your inner leader enhancement, you begin to follow the example of some famous leaders and copy their demeanor. Hence, the best thing is to reveal your strong sides and be authentic. Of course, you can and should take examples from great leaders, but you don’t need to copy them. Be unique and true to yourself!

Now you know what you need to do to become a leader for yourself and for other people. The main thing to remember is that leadership is what you make of it. When you learn to control yourself, understand your actions, improve your speaking skills, then you begin to develop as a leader further. Implement these five tips, and get a solid chance to succeed.

How To Be A Successful Leader From Home

Before the pandemic, working from home was something that a few people did and a lot more were interested in trying out.

Before the pandemic, working from home was something that a few people did and a lot more were interested in trying out. Now it’s rather suddenly become a fact of life for entire workplaces and teams, and many of us are still working to adapt. If you’re finding it difficult to manage some elements of working with your team or even staying on top of your own workflow and habits in this new normal, here’s some great advice compiled from my clients who are experienced in successfully working and leading from home

For Your Team:

Overcommunicate, especially when things are uncertain. Provide additional detail and context to make up for the information people can no longer pick up organically in casual conversations. Be as clear and consistent as possible to keep everyone moving in the same direction.

Raise the flag if something looks off. It’s important to speak up, because it’s harder to spot things that have gone awry when everyone is working separately. If you have a concern, check in to see if what others think . And if you’re spinning your wheels on a project, let your colleagues know. Identify problems early so you can start working toward solutions.

Create inner circles of collaboration. If you do your best work in collaboration with a work partner or small group, block a few hours to share a virtual room. Use technology to see each other, view each other’s screens and set up a virtual whiteboard to share ideas and work through problems.

Check in with others. Find the structure that works best for maintaining open channels with each member of your team, making sure you check in regularly. It’s more important than ever that you ask lots of questions and listen to the answers.

Recognize effort as well as accomplishments. There are fewer opportunities for recognition when everyone is working separately, so make an extra effort. In addition to celebrating wins, recognize those who are contributing extra effort and longer hours, those who are working through stressful situations, and those who have taken a risk or tried something new—even if it didn’t work out.

For Yourself:

Start and end the work day at a specific time. Those who are new to working from home often experience burnout because they feel they never leave work. Set a schedule for the beginning and end of every work day. Of course there will be some nights you work late, but make them the exception, not the rule.

Work with your peak hours and low-energy moments. We all have times when we’re more focused and productive and times when our energy is lower and we’re more prone to distraction. An advantage of working from home is that it’s easier to balance your time, energy and productivity around your individual rhythm.

Remove as many distractions as possible. When you’re working from home, it’s easy to realize you’ve just spent an hour on social media or down an internet rabbit hole. Take social media off your work computer. Leave your phone in another room and get rid of any distractions that you know will get in the way of your productivity.

Create breaks during the day. No one can sit at a desk for 12 hours straight and do their best work. Even 15 to 30 minutes a couple of times a day can make a big difference in your focus and clarity. Treat it like a meeting and make yourself unavailable.

Exercise or do something vigorous at least four days a week. Aside from the physical benefits, exercise increases mental sharpness and makes you better at handling stress. It’s harder to fit exercise in, especially if you’re used to the routine of going to a gym, but your productivity and mental attitude—not to mention your health—depend on it.

Pay attention to your mindset. Working from home makes it extra important that you stay on top of your thoughts and mental attitude. It can be harder to find ways to clear your head, and there are fewer interactions with others to keep you grounded. Find things that nourish you—take your laptop out on the porch, play some music, read an author whose work inspires you.

Fight loneliness and isolation. Working from home, you miss out on camaraderie, companionship and interacting with others. But you don’t have to feel you’re on an island. Set up a virtual lunch date or happy hour, or create chat channels for topics of interest. Spend a bit of time every day connecting with co-workers about nonwork topics- think of it as the online version of stopping by their desk to chat.

Lead from within: Successfully working from home is a skill; it takes time and commitment and dedication to develop that skill. But with a great leader at the helm, people and teams can find their way and be as successful as ever.

How To Utilize Data To Inform Your Sales Process

The Four Ways That Data Can Be Utilized To Inform Your Sales Process

By Dave Mattson | August 28, 2020

For as long as there have been salespeople, there has been data to analyze about the process they use to bring in business. The only issue has been how effective leaders are at drawing conclusions from that data.

All too often, companies don’t make effective use of the information available to them from their sales teams. They fail to generate the most relevant data points… or they focus on information that is familiar to them but less than meaningful. These common mistakes result in, among other things, the dreaded “garbage in, garbage out” sales forecast. So: How can you as a sales leader use data to support both the organization and the sales team? Here are four questions that will help you to do just that.

Question One: Do you have a sales process? This may sound like an obvious requirement, but most organizations we work with do not have a sales process! If you start breaking down data without a systematic process in place for generating sales, the data you come up with isn’t going to do you a lot of good. Note that a sales process gives people the steps they need to follow, from start to finish, to create revenue for your organization. Every company has a slightly different process; you can think of the data generated by the various steps of your sales process as being like an MRI. When it’s done properly, that kind of comprehensive scan is going to tell you what you need to know about the internal workings of your sales team. But to be useful, the analysis must line up with a functioning sales process!

Question Two: Have you identified your expectations? What are your expectations for each of the phases of your sales process? Break the process into its constituent parts: lead development, also known as prospecting; qualification; and then fulfillment and servicing the account. These three phases can also be understood, in the enterprise world, as landexpand, and renew. So. What are the specific outcomes you want to see within each of those three areas? What are the behaviors that make those outcomes possible? What are the departmental benchmarks – meaning what are your time-bound goals for behaviors that will land new business, expand existing business, and renew relationships with your best customers? Once you know that, you can break it down. What are the team benchmarks? What are the individual benchmarks? Set specific expectations. Hopefully, you’ve overlaid some competitive information, and you are meeting or exceeding the relevant industry benchmarks as you work with your team to identify the right goals. Once you have set the expectations, you will have something to compare the relevant real-world data to. (See Question Three.)

Question Three: Are you measuring the right stuff? Get meaningful data. Specifically, make sure you are getting data that connects to a specific step of your sales process. Make sure you are using your CRM system as a source of actionable business intelligence… not as a demonstration of compliance on the part of your salespeople. Make sure you are tracking leading indicators (activities that predictably generate revenue, such as having an initial voice-to-voice conversation with a decision maker) not just lagging indicators (activities that connect to revenue that has already been generated, such as filing a signed contract). Often, leaders spend too much time on lagging indicators and not enough in leading indicators. Identify the leading indicators that spotlight the effectiveness of a particular step of your sales process (such as the number of times a salesperson begins a discussion about the budget). Use that data to strategize improvement. What specific tools, resources, and behaviors will help everyone ensure the needle is moving in the right direction? How will you share the data in a way that inspires salespeople to monitor – and control – their own behavior?

Question Four: Are you looking at a problem… or a symptom? This is perhaps the most important question of all. Is the data you’re examining pointing you toward an actual problem, or is it identifying the inevitable result of some underlying issue that you haven’t yet addressed? Sometimes, what seems obvious about a sales team’s needs isn’t obvious at all. Let me give you an example: Often, companies will look at their presentation-to-close ratio, realize that it’s low, and then self-diagnose based on that. They’ll say to themselves, “Okay, we need some help; we need to get better at delivering our presentations.” They think that’s the right response to what the data is telling them. But time after time, we find that’s not the problem.  When we do some digging, what we generally uncover is that they have a poor qualification process. The majority of those people they’re presenting to, they shouldn’t have been presenting to in the first place. They had no opportunity to win. Remember: There is a time to step back and get some help in assessing what the data is really telling you.

New technologies in CRM, in artificial intelligence, voice intelligence, and in any number of other areas are giving us all access to much deeper analyses than we could have made just a few years ago. As sales leaders, we can get the right data up on the dashboard… we can use that data intelligently… and as a result of what we learn, we can do a better and better job of leading our teams and our organizations in the direction they need to go. That starts with asking ourselves the four questions I’ve shared here – so we can avoid the all-too-common mistake of trying to land the plane without an instrument panel!

How To Create Everlasting Motivation To Achieve Your Goals

What most people don’t know is that motivation comes to you when you’re doing the work.

If you’d like to learn how to consistently motivate yourself so you can achieve any goal you want, sign up for the free 90-Day Master Class hosted by the founder of Addicted2Success.com, Joel Brown.

People are always waiting for motivation to strike them before they start working on their goals. However, waiting for motivation to come to you before you start working is an unreliable method if you want to consistently work on achieving your goals.

What most people don’t know is that motivation comes to you when you’re doing the work. The more time you spend working on your goals and achieving progress, the more motivation you get which helps bring momentum to progress even faster.

In this small guide, I am going to show you how to create a reliable stream of motivation to achieve any goals that you want:

1. Create Small Mini-Goals For Your Larger Goals

People argue whether you should create small goals or big goals for your motivation but the real secret is to have both of them.

Here’s why:

  • You want goals and dreams big enough so that it makes you get excited to work for the bigger picture
  • You want small goals for your big goals to show proof that you are making progress

In other words, you need to have goals that get you excited and goals that show you’re making progress. When you have goals that show you are making progress, it shows that whatever actions you are doing is not in vain and that you are one step closer to that exciting big dream.

There’s a problem if you’re missing on just one of these because, if you only have big goals, you are going to lose motivation when you see no progress in 3 months. Same for the opposite, if you only have small goals, you aren’t going to be excited enough to keep working on them.

Define your biggest goal that you want and create mini-goals for that big goal to show you are slowly but surely making progress.

“Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.” – Pablo Picasso

Motivation comes from seeing progress and results from working through a period of time. This means that when you are working on your goals, you want to journal and measure how far you have gone: Daily, Weekly, Monthly and yearly.

The funny part is that you won’t feel a difference whether it’s been 3 months or 1 year. You are just going to feel normal. It’s when you see physical proof that you have evolved based on your past ideas and progress that you can see you transformed into another person.

That’s why I want you to keep a journal and record the most important metrics of the goal you are working on.

For example, if you are trying to lose weight you want to record:

  • How much you weigh each week
  • How many calories you are eating
  • What types of food you are eating
  • How many times you exercise per week

Having data allows you to see what works and what doesn’t work and gives you the opportunity to make changes to see the results you want. When you start to see the results you want happening slowly over time, this will make you much more excited to be consistent to reach your goals.

3. Celebrate Your Small Successes

A lot of us who are tracking our progress in achieving our goals don’t take the time to celebrate our little wins. It’s the small building blocks that build the foundation to achieve our goals.

When you take the time to reflect on how far you have come and start celebrating your little wins, you are putting yourself in a positive framework where you reward yourself for doing something that you want.

This is a powerful tool in making sure you continue to stay persistent in your goals as you celebrate your small wins which eventually lead to your big win.

Here are some ways to celebrate your small wins:

  • Eat out with the family
  • Take time to watch Netflix
  • Do a hobby you enjoy

The key point is to do the above in moderation. You want to reward yourself in such a way that it doesn’t become a habit. That’s when rewards become even more powerful as a tool for increasing your motivation.

“Small successes are still successes; great failures are still failures.” – Mason Cooley

4. Find Your Inner “Why”

There’s a reason why a lot of people who have New Year’s resolutions suddenly quit on their goals. People are excited to have their own business making a lot of money, their ideal body, and the relationship of their dreams. But when it comes down to trying to change themselves, most of them quit within a couple of weeks.

This is because they realize that the pain of trying to change is greater than the pleasure of staying in their comfort zone. You need to delve deep in yourself and find your inner “why.” Why do you want to change so badly?

You need to start asking this question whenever you are trying to change one of your habits. Things will get tough as it’s hard staying consistent in doing the right thing every day.

Here are some more questions you need to find and answer when things get hard:

  • Are you unsatisfied with where you are now?
  • Are you willing to make some sacrifices for the goals you want?
  • Are you willing to change your habits and understand it takes time?

You want to answer these questions honestly and figure out how to make it a reality.

Conclusion

Waiting for your “inspirational motivation” is an unreliable way to get started on your work. Rather, true motivation comes from seeing the progress and results when you start working on your goals.

The way to create this true everlasting motivation is to create small and big goals and track your progress in achieving them. You also want to have small celebrations along the way to maintain your motivation and reward yourself. Finally, when things get hard you need to fall back into your inner “why” on the real reason why you want to change.

How To Learn About Entrepreneurship From Colonel Sanders

The 7 Inspiring Lessons Colonel Sanders Can Teach Us About Entrepreneurship

Published 2 days ago

on Aug 30, 2020

By Graham Chapman

Colonel Sanders was rejected exactly 1009 times before he was able to sell his KFC recipe successfully. In addition to this, he failed at every job he even turned his hand to during his life. After a lifetime of facing failure after failure, he finally sold KFC at the ripe old age of 75.

In this blog, we’ll be covering seven of the inspiring lessons that the Colonel’s entrepreneurial journey can teach us, and whether you’re 25 or 75 years old, there’s something here for any budding entrepreneur.

The TW3 Work From Home Business Opportunity Is Right For You. Click Here To Learn More!

Lesson #1: Failure Breeds Success

As I mentioned, the Colonel was rejected over a thousand times before he was successfully able to sell his Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe – that’s a lot of rejection. Not only that, but Sanders failed miserably at every other career he ever attempted. Between the ages of ten and forty, Sanders tried his hand at the following, among other things:

  • Streetcar conducting
  • Farming
  • Law
  • Sales
  • Fire fighting

This just goes to show that no matter how much you experience failure, there’s still time, no matter how old you are, which brings us neatly onto our next lesson.

“I’ve only had two rules. Do all you can and do it the best you can. It’s the only way you ever get that feeling of accomplishing something.” – Colonel Sanders

Lesson #2: It’s Never Too Late

When Colonel Sanders was 75, he finally sold KFC for $2 million (roughly $15 million today). Can you imagine experiencing such a win, after a lifetime of losing? I’ve met people during my career who think they’re over the hill by the time they’re in their thirties! Yet the Colonel ploughed on in the face of adversity and ended up as the founder and face of a brand we’re still so familiar with over five decades later.

Lesson #3: The Past is In the Past

In order to be successful as an entrepreneur, many people simply need to learn that the past is in the past, and it will only define your future chance of success if you allow it to. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve failed, where you’ve come from or what negative things you’ve experienced or done in the past.

Your past doesn’t hold the keys to your future success. The Colonel failed at every career he ever attempted. He even spent much of his life in an unhappy marriage, ending in divorce and had to provide for three children by the time he was nineteen. For most, that’d be enough for them to settle down into an unfulfilling career, but the Colonel pressed on with faith in his own abilities and principles.

Lesson #4: Giving Up is the Only Way to Fail

Failure is a natural side effect of life; the story of Kentucky Fried Chicken tells us that quitting is the only failure. If you have the same outlook and faith in what you’re trying to do, the possibility of significant success is never off the table. Even when you see the clock is ticking and the days and years are flashing by, there’s no time limit on being a success. Never stop searching for that light at the end of the tunnel.

Lesson #5: A Fresh Start is Sometimes All You Need

It’s clear to us now that cooking was a passion of the Colonel’s, but he didn’t discover his enthusiasm until much later in his life. It’s only through having the courage to fail and start over, again and again, that he was able to discover his real calling.

When you try to succeed at multiple disciplines, it’s a sure-fire way to burn yourself out. The start is always the hard part, and for most, the idea of doing it over and over again, in their 50s, 60s and 70s would be absolutely exhausting. The energy and passion that the Colonel showed by doing this well into his seventies is an inspiring lesson to any entrepreneur.

Lesson #6: Take a Leap of Faith

It’s no great shock to learn that following your heart’s desire is often the key to success, happiness and contentment. How is it then, that so many of us won’t chase after what we truly want from life? Sitting back and relaxing into your comfort zone means that many of us don’t realize how vital passion and desire really are. In the end, the pursuit of a passion will make anyone happy, contented and prosperous.

“One has to remember that every failure can be a stepping stone to something better.” – Colonel Sanders

Lesson #7: Keep it Simple

It seems crazy to say it, but Kentucky Fried Chicken started by selling chicken on the side of the road. After selling his recipe, the business grew rapidly, and these days it’s commonplace to see KFC franchises in countries all over the world – 145 to be exact. The lesson here is never to be afraid of keeping things simple. So long as you’re willing to start, work hard and keep at it, things will grow.

It’s often the case that would-be entrepreneurs will put off starting their venture, launching their website or whatever it might be because they simply don’t believe they are big enough to make a start.

The 4 Ways of How to Build a Learning Culture While Your Workforce is Remote

Mandating a three-hour webinar training is no longer going to cut it.

BY MARCEL SCHWANTES, FOUNDER AND CHIEF HUMAN OFFICER, LEADERSHIP FROM THE CORE@MARCELSCHWANTES

4 Ways to Build a Learning Culture While Your Workforce Is Remote

As business leaders and individuals grapple with the staggering impact of Covid-19 one thing has become undoubtedly clear. In order for leaders to foster organizational resilience and weather the post-pandemic storm, they must prioritize the learning and development of their workforce.

I don’t mean mandated Zoom presentations in which employees multitask on the side. What I mean is flexible, passion-driven learning where employees learn what they want, when they want and on their own terms.

The TW3 Work From Home Business Opportunity is Right for You. Click Here to Learn More!

Shelley Osborne, VP of Learning at Udemy, offers a much-needed revision to corporate training in her new book: The Upskilling Imperative: 5 Ways to Make Learning Core to the Way We Work. In it, Osborne challenges traditional, one-size-fits-all approaches to training that are no longer relevant to modern workers–let alone those working remotely.

Shelley recommends the following to help leaders develop an effective and sustainable learning culture–with an eye toward continuous employee growth and long-term business success during (and beyond) Covid-19.

Demonstrate how learning drives business success

“When beginning to build their learning culture, leaders must consider that employees need to understand how their learning impacts business outcomes,” says Osborne.

As businesses continue to operate with limited staff or reduced capacity, it’s critical for employees to stretch their skill sets further and fill tasks and roles they wouldn’t normally. Individuals are more likely to learn and seek out learning when they understand the role it plays in overall business success.

“Leaders can signal the value of learning throughout the organization by setting aside their own time for it and sharing with their teams and the broader organization what they’re learning,” she says. “This makes it clear to employees that learning at work is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.”

Let your employees define flexibility for continuous improvement

Harnessing the power of learning isn’t as simple as rolling out more training modules or sending people to a slew of workshops.

Employees require more flexibility today than ever before, and that is especially true when it comes to learning. Due to Covid-19, parents are working double duty as busy professionals and homeschool teachers, while other employees navigate the nuances of working remotely with roommates. Bottom line: mandating a three-hour webinar training is no longer going to cut it.

Building a sustainable learning culture means giving employees time and space to learn where and when they want. Doing so will encourage them to seek out new learning opportunities independently and allow for psychological safety and the ability to learn.

“One of the greatest leadership lessons I’ve learned is that we must recognize we aren’t perfect and there is always room to learn and grow,” says Osborne. “When you have teams and businesses that provide flexibility for growth and development, we can all continuously improve.”

Focus on change agility

We need to do more to lay the groundwork for unexpected change. However, this preparedness can’t be exclusive to pandemics and recessions. We must understand and accept that change is constant, necessary, and beneficial for surviving and thriving in today’s workplace.

Osborne refers to this type of adaptability as “change agility”–seeing change as an ongoing opportunity, not as a threat or liability. And at the center of change agility is continuous learning.

“Grounding a company’s culture in learning is the surest way to navigate through change,” says Osborne. “A strong learning culture empowers employees to upskill themselves in the face of change, continually grow and adapt to new challenges.”

Continuous learning & Covid-19

If there is one message Osborne would like readers to take away from her book, it’s that learning programs must evolve with the times. Traditional approaches to training (a la overhead projector and chalkboards) were built for a world we don’t live in anymore. What’s more, they aren’t engaging for today’s workers who are accustomed to consuming digital content on their own terms. This was true before the pandemic and it’s undeniable now.

Beyond modernizing the learning experience at work–companies need to transform at every level into learning-driven organizations, where working and learning are inextricably linked.

As companies continue to navigate this new environment, Osborne is optimistic that the fundamental shift toward flexible, accessible online learning is here to stay. AUG 29, 2020. Like this column?
